Offseason is boring...


#1 Portland Ronin: no roster changes (except for losing their return man who was mine but was out of games). I expect them to be a solid team -- just as they have been sine season 1. I doubt the off season changes will affect them overly much.


#2 Dead at Season's End: apparently going full CPU this season. Still at #2 despite 10 losses this season. Will they fall out of the top 10 before the seasons mid point? A good lesson in ELO here anyway.


#3 New Jersey Generals: all of their contracts are about to expire. Are we about to have 2 CPU teams in top 3??


#4 Air Raid: No roster turnover - likely unaffected by any of the offseason changes (possibly a slightly boosted run defense) - I expect they will be the next team not named Ronin to reach #1


#5 Salty Runback: No roster turnover - likely unaffected by any off season changes. I expect they will rise to the top 3 within the next couple of weeks


#6 Harrisonburg: Minimal roster changes (are they going to be able to land Storm Taurus?) They are in a tough league as well with Minnesota and Cobra Kai.


#7 Minnesota Stunners: no roster change (though if storm taurus come a'callin it would have to be considered)


#8 Brisbane Bogans: on their way out. Owner has been inactive for weeks. Roster is Expiring. They'll slide out quickly


#9 Tampa Piranhas: on their way out. most of the roster is CPU. Are they going to refill it? I don't know - but they'll be out of the top 10 soon.


#10 Erkner: currently about 40% Cpu. Are they recruiting? I'm not sure. But not for the top 10 for long.

Kind of a bummer to have multiple gut jobs in the top 10.

Not dead yet. Have to figure out what I need to do to make my team better.

I will be accepting bribes for my Free Agents as One Season Mercenaries to carry a team to the next ladder championship.

D'Hara could of had Storm but he is only playing for 1 season and I didn't want to make cuts if we couldn't agree on 2 season...hope I don't regret the decision haha

My TRUE top 10

1. Minnesota (the new Hawaii... could very well go undefeated this season)
2. Air Raid (the do what they do, no surprises)
3. HBurg (could very well be better than last season with all the S* pros now vets)
4. Cobra Kai (very underrated)
5. Portland
6. Salty
7. Ellix (6 of 7 losses last season were to HBurg, CK, Air Raid, and Hawaii- finished season laying beatdowns on LSP and Legacy)
8. LSP
9. Erkner (assuming they fill up their team
10. Andes (always solid)

4. Cobra Kai (very underrated, very similar to HBurg in terms of run/pass ratio)

5. Portland (always good, tossup with NJ, I'll give portland the tiebreaker because of the H2H win last season)
6. New Jersey (so they are back... they'll be very good again)
Tier 3
7. Salty
8. Ellix (6 of 7 losses last season were to HBurg, CK, Air Raid, and Hawaii- finished season laying beatdowns on LSP and Legacy)
Tier 4
9. LSP

honestly though, we should have a coaches/GM poll. It would be fun to think who everyone elses top 10 is.

I have a feeling there will be a team or two sneaking up on people as they quietly improved their team

yea i'd say probably the owner... or a delegate if he wants someone else to handle it

could be done weekly like college basketball (where there are multiple games per week)

how many should get a vote do you think? the top 50? votes could be for top 10, and then who they think is #1 (number of votes in parenthesis). This could be done pretty easily in an excel spreadsheet.
