I am the GM for the Kentucky Mountaineers. I took over the offense about halfway through this season. Our owner, Myrik, runs the defense. This was my first season running the whole show on O but we managed to put together a good streak and are going to end .500. I'm looking to help build the future of the team now. Most of our players will be returning, but some builds aren't salvageable and need to be weeded out. Currently we are a run first offense but that is primarily because passing in rookie ball is a gamble. We have the QB and part of the receiving corp needed to be a passing dominant team, just need to develop. Endgame for offense is a team that can move the ball through the air, but still rushes on 3rd and 2. We want to remain balanced on defense as well. Committed to stopping the flavor of the month power running backs, but still having skill at the necessary positions to cover.
That being said here are our needs for season 8:
1 TE
Ideally a S* receiving TE, but not many out there this season so a good build on a normal receiving TE will be welcome.
1 CB
Standard covering CB's. Man awareness, coverage tech and good physicals.
1 SS
There is no position more important on a GLB2 defense than the SS. He has to do it all. From covering this wide receivers who call themselves a "TE" to tackling the Mack truck running backs.
