We’ve reached the point of the season where motivation starts to become a significant factor. Teams have suffered key losses—many of which were on display during Week 8—and expectations suddenly shift with the finishing line coming into focus.

I know. I’m nervous too.

Determining which teams respond following key victories and defeats can be easier said than done, although it’s a challenge that has to be taken head on in Week 9.

(0-8) Orlando Warriors vs (4-4) Drinkin Hellraisers

Drinkin last week’s win navigated choppy waters to another solid game from Kyle Stobie. Given the shitty state of the Warriors, this match reaks of raw flesh being rip off the bone.

Have you ever watch a helpless lady being slap around and unable to defend themselves. This is Orlando and I imagine the Hellraisers rocking their wife beaters-- Whenever FS Jake Style wants to screw you over, I suggest you roll over to your side and keep your fucking mouth shut.

Orlando will get slam into a rape choke hold..

(2-6) Drunken RedZone Zombies vs (0-8) Oregon Ducks

The numbers aren't favorable for Oregon, and this is being kind. The Ducks have yet to win a game, and doesn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

haha, does this mean no win for coachjbax.

Everything—and I mean everything—points to RedZone Zombies being the play, although I’m curious to see if there’s a letdown following the biggest win in quite some time. My heart is telling me I can trust LB Brant Levesque to keep the swamp ducks under wraps.

DRZ will win but maybe by only three scores and not more. Well, maybe.

(4-4) D.C. Corrupt Politicians vs (6-2) Compton Con Men

The loss for Corrupt against Hellraisers, however, did plenty of damage, and how this team bounce back will be intriguing. The Politicians has, at the very least, put out a good portion of the flames on a large dumpster fire. QB Sugar Honey Ice Tea always spit back whenever being loogied hock on. But this game might be too devastating to stomach. That’s like asking you to enjoy the beautiful flowers next to a passenger filled train sitting on its side.

Dexter Morgan seen his own blood. Never in history did they experience a high volume run offense of that caliber (Minnesota).

While lesser teams would nose dive after being hit with that kind of force, I expect DE Dee Ford, LB Ken Dobbins and FS Myles Swan to rally the troops and get back to a more team focus brand of defense. It won't take long before Bramble Pan Axl, placing balls in your face. I should know...he's a handful to keep up with.

Don’t be surprised if this one is closer than many believe it will be. But Hell!!! You can come over and skull fuck my sister, if Sugar Honey Ice Tea can pull a win out of his ass - in this one.

(5-3) Jersey Goons vs (6-2) Drunken Potato Farmers

Jersey comes home with its championship hopes, even with a few unexpected losses- The Goons are tested through and through. The real question is can Owner sonto gets his franchise to win big games? LB Dean Drummond: Chase Down Artist, Blitzer, and Lightning Reflexes chronically assesses him to a Tee. Will he get to QB Lance Longarm? Who has been quietly going about his business of getting the job done.

HB Thor Douglas can stand up to any scheme. Let's not beat around the bush. Here’s what it comes down to, as it does in most of these games: How much does Drunken want to win by?

The Farmers might not be completely up for this game after their second loss (no shame in losing to a much better team: unless you convince yourself that you're better), but it won't matter.

Potato advance to 7-2

(3-5) Alliance Cobras vs (8-0) Minnesota Stunners

After delivering a pussy juice performance against Orlando, Cobras will head on the road in what only could be described as a “do we really have to play this?” game.

Which Alliance team will show up? Does anyone show up?

On the surface, Ten touchdowns in a mismatch for an offense- feels like a gift. And that will be the case, as Christmas always come early when Jimbo Jumpback is waiting for a carry.

This is his first ever league TD

Sweet baby Jesus has he matured into a freak!

Any last words, Ryan Tannyhill.....We're sending the hounds after you.

(3-5) Philadelphia Bling vs (7-1) MMArmy Can Crushers

Oh, Philly Bling burned me good last week. DRZ was shaping up to be a sure thing, and then a late LB Brant Levesque put those dreams to rest. It’s been that kind of season for QB Michael Smith and Co.

This is the Mighty Can Crushers~ they enter with only one loss and are getting plenty of respect from all opponents to include the likes of the Stunners.

Now, for MMA- has this respect been earned, or is it being added to the hype name value of Big Ben alone? It’s a fair question and one we won’t know the answer for sure until the game is done. I'm not saying Philly has a snowball's chance, but for some strange reason-- Bling gets their dick's hard for games like this. I must add that I can't find a single corner that can contain Mandy Ross> .

GM Mezirah has his team playing outstanding football, and offensively this group prove to be too much.

Compton vs DC games over the past two seasons (I don't think they've ever had one blowout one way or the other against each other)

Season 5: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/79516
-DC wins the game on a 74 yard TD pass with 21 seconds to go in the game
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/79516/1069570

Season 6 (Regular Season: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/98393
-DC ties the game up with 32 seconds to go in the game on a 25 yard pass
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98393/1998958
-DC then goes on to make quick work in OT to win the game, 37-31
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98393/1999090

Season 6 (Playoffs): http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/112040
-Compton and DC combine for nearly 1,400 passing yards in a high flying, high scoring 63-52 win for Compton

What will this season 7 matchup have in store for us?

Historically you two had some awesome games which is why I think it will be close, but Bramble Pan Axl is just as much as a pain as he was last season. You'll see what I mean when he starts carving away.

It's all Rob, and Sov. I just deliver the bad news to Irishwhiskey every off season I'm going to cut another one of his guys for some eligible superstar on the free agent market. And I also game plan for games I'm obsessing over, like I did the defense vs the Stunners in Game 1. I'm going to just toss the clipboard back to someone else for the re-match.

I'm pretty sure DC and Hellraisers are both expecting to win, which means this game is going to be awesome. The #1 passing offense vs the #1 passing defense. Honey Ice Tea could be facing the biggest challenge of the season, where as Compton's 83 overall receiving hands should have their way with the 10th best passing defense that of D.C. I'd like to say DC takes it, but

dont let mez undersell his value, i think we have one of the stronger rosters and it is all due to his brad pitt like moneyballin' skills. he also has busted out a couple of clutch d gameplans on the fly that got us some huge wins. now irish on the other hand, dont buy into all his shittalking like he actually does anything, he is nothing more than capital funding for our ventures lol

imo our biggest improvement was basically forcing rob to reluctantly run our D, we had to kidnap some of his family as collateral but thats all minor details haha

This week on ESPN 30 for 30, the story about how Mandy Ross was slotted to go to Drinkn' Hellraisers but I sold him on the MMArmy dream. The rest is history & legend.

True story. Bhall almost had Mandy making Kyle Stobie look good. Now he's stuck catching a rapists balls.
