OK so a combination of me being rubbish and disappointed in the Hookers performances this season, me being drunk for a weekend at the international series game (Lions Falcons) and the horrible people I work for wanting me to actually do something for a change has meant that my performance in the predictions has been as inconsistent and the Hookers have been so far this season!
For a quick re-cap since the last predictions in week 2!!!!!....
Weeks 2-5 Review…
Phuket Nightwalkers
Put the beat down on a Keuka Defence that forgot to put in the D to stop the QB run and put up 70 points in week 2…and made the same mistake against those pesky Rabid Primates in week 3 and got their Ass handed to them in a 63-0 embarrassment. Week 4 they came back with a decent performance against the criminals from Las Vegas only to revert back to awful in week 5 with a 28-0 defeat to Kanye…consistently inconsistent!
Monmouth EVIL MONKEYS
Currently sitting proudly at #2 in the ladder and a very tough team, they thumped the teddy Bears in week 2 59-7 and followed it up with a thorough hammering of the Hookers in week 3. However, in week 4, the Firemen of FBU came up with a bit of a shock (no offense ytwins) and shut them out in a 7-0 W, but they were back to winning ways in week 5 with a shutout of their own against the Criminals.
Chicago bears
Hammered in week 2 by those Primates, they slipped again in week 3 with a L to Keuka, meaning after the Alpha divisional round MEM were miles in front with the other 3 teams taking games from each other. In week 4 the Teddies managed to get back to winning ways with a 13-7 W against the Skins before maintaining the inconsistency of the bottom 3 alpha teams in a L to the mostly CPU Tucson Reptiles.
Keuka Blue
Thumped in week 2 by the Hookers 70-0,
(sorry to gloat but I've not had much chance this season) they bounced back with a decent W against the Teddies and maintained the 1-2 divisional record of the "other" alpha teams. In week 4 they lost a D battle against the ghosts and as seems traditional in Alpha bounced back to win in week 5 against the Skins.
FBU Heat
After losing in week 1 to the CPU Reptiles they have been a force in league play and the firemen settled into winning ways in week 2 with a W against the ghosts and followed it up in week 3 by beating Kanye before the great week 4 performance against the Monkeys. In week 5 they went up against the Crazies and scraped out a 21-17 W to sit atop Beta (=)with a 4-1 record.
Tucson Reptiles
OK so after they won in week one against the firemen I thought it was a fluke and the lizards would disappear but they have proven me wrong, in week 3 they suffered their ONLY loss of the season to Kanye before beating the ghosts, NGWT (Suicide girls) and Teddy Bears in the next 3 weeks to join the firemen atop Beta…although I cant see this lasting they have made Beta an interesting division, which after the 1 way traffic of Alpha can only be a good thing!
Coinye Millionaires
A new name for these guys and a decent record as well, in week 2 they gave the lizards their only league L of the season with a 21-14 victory, before losing to the firemen in week 3. In week 4 they shut out the crazies 14-0 and followed it up with a comprehensive W against the Hookers in week 5 to stay in touch with the lizards and firemen at the top of Beta.
Dallas Djin
The ghosts have it tough, Beta is probably the toughest division at the minute! In week 2 they lost a low scoring game to the firemen and then lost out to the lizards in week 3, Week 4 saw them slip by Keuka by a FG and they lost by 1 point in week 5 to NGWT. I don’t think they are as bad as their 1-3-1 record suggests and they have had some hideously tough ladder matches as well. I think they will turn their record round in the 2nd half of the season, although I cant see them challenging the firemen and Kanye for the top 2 spots in Beta.
Las Vegas Outlaws
A week 2 demolition of NGWT 27-0 and a week 3 hammering of the Skins 34-0 set the criminals up for a good season, however a close week 4 loss to the Hookers tightened things up in Gamma. Especially when this was followed up with a 21-0 L to the monkeys.
Suicide Girls
A week 2 W against the crazies in was followed by a loss to the Ciminials in week 3 and a crushing 35-13 loss to the CPU Lizards in week 4. Meaning the top of gamma is the a tie between the NGWT and the criminals. Their week 5 game against the ghosts was as close as it gets with a 17-16 W, meaning the NGWT sit at 3-2 in the league this season.
Santa Monica Mayhem
The crazies beat the only three horned team without a W in week 2 24-0, but that proved to be their only bright moment so far this season as they followed it up with L's to NGWT in week 3, Kanye in week 4 and a close L to the firemen in week 5.
Washington Warriors
Currently the only team without a W, the skins are looking to be the whipping boys of the three horns this season. Although it does look as though Cyberninja might be building the players to fill out the roster it maybe a little bit late…and he is still short a Defense!
Weeks 2-5 have seen loses to the crazies, Criminals, Teddy Bears and keuka who have a combined record of 8-12, things don’t look as though they will improve anytime soon for the Skins!
I'll get the preview for week 6 up shortly and hopefully I will be able to keep things going now for the rest of the season!
