So use all my skill points in one area? Like get speed to 100 while everything else is being trained?

Actually, most train (on intense) for quite some time their primary skill before switching over to multi-training. When you make the switch to multi-training, it's builder preference as to whether of not to make your primary a 'fixed skill' (meaning you bought the skill as one of your permanent multi-skills to be trained throughout the dot's career) or not (using the open or 'free' slot to train your primary). Even after you switch to multi-training, you should still probably be training your primary and spending your ST's on it until it gets high enough that ALG's and training will take it to 100 natural.
