Wondering if anyone has insight what exactly effects the roll on forced fumbles, and the weights of each attribute. Mostly wondering how much tackling technique helps, and whether player speed/momentum has any effect. My FS has very low strip tech/power tackling, yet has forced 4/5/5 fumbles his first 3 seasons. Not sure if it's luck, or a result of high tackling technique.

Technique helps in that a better tackle leads to fewer missed tackles. Your fumble forcing goes up purely by having more chances. But yeah, supposedly momentum plays a role as do the strip tech and power tackling skills. And a couple SAs.

Dont forget the players you tackle. If you are blitzing a lot, getting to the QB, you are more likely to get a fumble, even with low power tackling. Compared to a run stopping LB, who might takes on a lot of power runners with high grip and Mr. Reliable/B4I.

Lot of factors going into it. Momentum, morale, energy, grip on various defenders, angle, and then the 3 main attributes effecting the tech/power of your tackle/strip

Don't forget the Intimidation factor, which lowers morale during the tackle (both players get a roll for it). A high intimidation LB will drive morale lower during the hit, increasing fumble odds, while a high Intimidation RB can "scare" (morale) the LB into making a poorer tackle.

one thing I've noticed - which I like --- seems that forced fumble chance goes up when 2 defenders crush a ball carrier at the same time (sandwich)
