YOu can respect you guys while on a team just only the 3 days off season. The first one is free after that it gets pricey..
I like this game but if ficking gets me on how uninformed the players are about stuff. Or having to look though countless threads to find something.

Yeah there's that.
You can respect a player for free during the first off-season. After that it costs Flex.
What this allows you to do is run a Rookie strategy that's different from your long-term strategy. This is particularly helpful for teams that want a balanced Offense in the future, but would rather concentrate on Run or Pass only for Rookie.
So for Rookie, you just invest in one of them and then in the three day off-season you respect and build a balanced OLine now that you have the SP to do it.
GLB2 has been live for almost a year now and you'd think this would all be documented somewhere, but no one has really put together a great newbie play guide. People are still learning how to build players a year into the game.

yeah I know you could respect and all but I totally thought you had to be a FA and not on team. We as a team are going with what we have but we dotn have a build plan everyone build how they want. maybe I need to change that. I personal thing that the fun in it..

As long as the builds are "usable" and the play-calling and tactics and set in a way to maximize those players, you should be ok.
It may be a bit easier for agents like Xars and I, as a single agent team, to do things like change individual player tactics (rush power/evasive) and keep all SPs spent for maximum effectiveness, but you should be able to do about 95% of what we can.
Good, open communication with your team is the key.
