Draft Rules:
1) Players agree to sign with the team that drafts you if not you will be Banned from future Drafts...
2) Teams do not draft players that have been drafted by another team doing so will forfeit your next 2 picks very costly error.
3) Teams with the Best record pick Last Pick,Worst record gets 1st Pick in the Draft...Tie Breakers will be determined by Teams Avg. Player Value.
4) GLB Draft will be held Season 49 Day 40-48 and will start Day 40 at 7:00PM EST,4:00PM PST or 17:00PM GLB Time.
Day 40 World League Draft
Day 41 Pro Draft
Day 42 Semi-Pro Draft
Day 43 Minor Draft
Day 44 University Draft
Day 45 Prep Draft
Day 46 Rookie Draft
Day 47 Pee Wee Draft
Day 48 Supplemental Draft for all tiers and remaining players.
Deadline for Teams and Players to enter is Day 39 of that particular draft season.
5) Contracts Length will be determined by Team and Player through negotiations.
Pee Wee Players Automatically get 1 Year Deals.
All Contracts must be Day 40 Ending Contracts.
6) Refrain asking for absurd contracts since there are guidelines in place.
7) Players must have Season 49 Ending Contracts to enter the Draft or be able to be Released by the end of Season 49.
8) Draft Order: Will be determined by rule #3 and posted a few days before the Draft.
9) No seeking out players before the Draft since they maybe drafted by another team and will have to sign with that team that drafts them.
10) Pee Wee Contracts Only: Max Salary Contracts
11) AFK Draft Rules - AFK or Away From Keyboard drafting team owners provide a list of draft prospects and send me the list in a PM.
Type Team Name as subject...Teams using the AFK system please have your list of potential picks ready by draft day.
12) ***The Draft reserves the right to replace a team that is not participating in our forums or keeping in touch***

Trades Rules:
Trade Room will open for trading Day 30.
1. Trades must be approved by 2 out of 3 Trade Committee Members.
2. All Trades will be within GLB Trade Bar Rules and Lopsided Trades will be Rejected.
3. There is no way to tranfer Team funds to another Team....Cash Trades have been removed from GLB.

Thought about that but then also thought that would mean merging 3 league tiers together...
World League
National Pro
Regional Pro

Better off and easier to manage World League by itself as the central and main draft.
World League teams could focus on reaping in the better talent to replace any open spots that may have occurred due to in-actives or other reasons.
Merging National and Regional Pro's on the other hand just made sense...more teams would be involved here and need separate attention themselves...merging these 2 is helpful.
This managing system worked out well for the Tourney also and was easier to manage that way..

Looking for a few volunteers to help make this a great fun feature again and hopefully help the game along the way...anyone with previous draft experience with any other previous GLB drafts in the past are welcome.

I heard jdbolick is interested in helping you organize the draft.

6 season is a year from now. Why not target season 45? BTW be careful combining WL and Pro unless WL picks first. No one will enter a WL caliber player if he knew that Pro teams were picking first and no WL team would enter the draft if they knew that Pro teams were picking before them. It just makes no sense.

I agree it would make no sense, that's mainly why World League will have its very own separate draft...
Current commitments in the real world will keep my hands tied up untill around Season 48-49...
Setting it for Season 50 both buys me some time to better organize the return of the draft and also lines up with GLB's 50th Season/Anniversary

Actually there will be...It's GLB's equal to the NFL sort of.......a few other tiers might not be around by then tho...if that happens I'll update the OP with the proper info

50th anniversary of GLB sounds neat tho. Should be a lot of time for agents to sign up for this good stuff...can't wait.
