Unless there is some drastic change that i am not aware off these are the matchups that are going to happen
Akron Dawgs(1st seed) VS ENMU GreyHounds(4th seed)
The two teams with the best record also just so happen to be two teams in the same division and two teams from the now defunct Aries League. This is a 2 season old rivalry which has heated up of late due to both teams being in the same division. The Dog Fight, as this rivalry shall now be known as, has been dominated by Akron so far in the favour of 3-0. However the GreyHounds have clawed their way back into this rivalry and have made a good push to take a game of late. To be honest this game could easily be the game that it happens, must to my despair. You just gotta look at the matchup to see that this game can really go both ways. Akron owns the #1 Offense and #1 Defense compared to the GreyHounds #3 and #4 respectively. These numbers mean little though in the Playoffs and this game could go either way really. Also Akron much like the Browns have a tendency to choke so i wouldnt count ENMU out.
Final Score: Akron 28-31 ENMU
Capua Gladiators(2nd seed?) VS New York Customs(3rd seed?)
Seeding is a bit skewed for these two as i am not sure if having a loss is worse than a draw when it counts to seeding but if they wipe each other out then Capua will be 3rd and New York 2nd. This is due to the 1 and only meeting between these two teams was a Week 6 Defensive slogfest between last seasons Gemini Champs and this seasons Surprise team. New York took the last game these two had but this means nothing people. Especially in the Playoffs. Capua have taken a lot of people by surprise with their good form and tremendous play, All while being a newly formed team for this season. This is a team that stole the Division from Phuket (with the help of last years finalist Ember City also) and have secured their first playoffs spot. Much can be said about the Gladiators but dont expect them to go down without a fight. On the Other side we have last years winners New York who when they saw the matchups that they would be having this season must be feeling pretty good with themselves with how they have finished the season. 10-4 is not bad seeing as 3 of the 4 losses have come to teams that are regularly top 15 ladder teams and a shock loss to San Diego that i wont mention that much(....really guys i shouldnt have to). They also boast a win against the Gladiators and a win over last years finalists Ember City. New York still has some fight in in yet and would very much like to make it back to back which they can do if they put their mind to it. In terms of Matchup Capua has the #5 best Offense and 5# best Defense and New York has #4 and 5# respectively so look to New York to have a small advantage in this one guys even if it is not a huge one.
Final Score: Capua 14-17 New York
Honorable Mentions
These gotta go to Phuket and Ember City who with just a few more points in 3 games could have made this playoff picture a whole lot different from what it is now (well apart from Akron and New York who won there divisions).
