Season 3: Does this even count, the league had a different name? Only the Con Men and DRZ were in that league, so lets not count it. Besides I don't know who screwed themselves that season.
Season 4: One conference had the Cleveland Steamers, Santa fe sugar dwarves, the Orlando Warriors and DRZ. DRZ needed to "win out" their last three games to make the playoffs as DRZ was 7-3 and the steamers were 8-2. That meant beating the steamers, whom they had lost to earlier in the season. So, the final three games were:
DRZ v Santa Fe: DRZ beat them 56-0 in their first meeting (gimmie)
DRZ v Orlando: DRZ beat them 52-0 in their first meeting (gimmie)
DRZ v ClevelandL DRZ lost to them 7-10 (definitely doable)
WHAT HAPPENED: DRZ lost to Santa fe 14-28. Hopes crushed 3 games from the playoffs. Then they beat the steamers in a rematch and also beat orlando...but it made no difference then!
Season 5: The three way tie DRZ, Philly, DC Corrupt
All DC needed to do to win the conference was win their final match against the Utah Saints, whom they beat 42-27 in their first meeting. They screwed themselves when they lost to Utah 49-52. That made the three way tie and DRZ got in by criteria.
Season 6: The three way tie strikes back: Cobra-Gate (a foretelling)
This is how the story will go. A wasted and dilapidated Philly, who would lose three in a row to get to 9-4. Their loss to Alliance (a team they beat 17-3 in their first meeting) would relinquish their playoff spot to DRZ. It would appear that Philly had "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory." However, Compton would end up throwing the final game against the Cobras to re-create a 3 way tie situation where DRZ would screw themselves out of a playoff spot. NOTE: If Compton does that then they will relinquish their third seed. Stay Classy Compton.
