Seriously whats the point of even offering accuracy to punters. It obviously does jack shit. I vote we get rid of it so new players dont fall into the trap of thinking that it would be a useful skill to invest in.

I mean Power kickers have more coffin punts than my poor accuracy punter that I keep dropping points in thinking that eventually it will pay off. Let me spoil the party guys.....it dont.

I have not found accuracy to offer anything of the sort, even when combined with consistency and punt hands.

Just bad programming it works as intended, but it wasn't intended very well.

The problem with accuracy punters is with the max FG range set to kick from the 45 yard line by Vet there really isn't much chance for CCs after rookie. You need power to even get it inside the 5 from the 50-40 yard line...

While my accuracy punter has done a *little* better this season, even with 79 accuracy he still tries to hit coffins that shoot into the end zone from like 30 yards out. I see power based punters kick a much better "high arc" punt that lands inside the 5-10 yard lines that my punter won't do unless we are basically in field goal range

Yeah why dont accuracy punters kick to the sides? I mean id prefer my punter to kick out of bounds even if it doest always work than trying to drop the ball on the 5 yard line and failing miserably

Punting distance is still vastly overpowered anyway. By VET we've turned everyone punting into Ray Guy on Steroids. Perhaps instead of accuracy only we should have considered hang time.

In general the power is overdown... I get that you didn't want rookie punters notching 12 yards but nothing wrong with setting a range running from 25 yards (more or less) at base power and working its way to 50 at max power.
