IS the Hall of Fame only going to be by season?
Or will we have a HOF for career accomplishments? I'm just wondering because my SS is dominating the HOF again for the 4th season in a row and I'd like this to be immortalized forever.

Nope. Only you will remember him when he's gone

This is something else that should be a suggestion. All-time records and all-time hall of fame should be implemented.

You can still check the HOF lists from seasons ago... Here are the links to the SS Journeyman HOF from seaoson 4 and the SS Pro HOF from season 5, where your player is #1

Stats in general need a "boost" so to speak in this game. It is a sports game. Sports in large part are about stats and history.

To be fair you don't have to sort by age range, he's the number 1 SS in all tiers in S4, S5, and so far in this season as well.
But nobody is ever going to look back at that. I just wish there was an "all time HOF ranking" page that we could also sort per position, or per Offense v Defense. Nobody will ever care to look back and once I quit GLB there will be nobody to continually whine and remind ya'll about how lucky I got to be on this specific team.

1) There should be recognition of the HoF on the player's awards tab.
2) Unless you go looking for it, you'd never know who was the top O player for some age group in some season.
3) There ought to be a final accounting of HoF based on average HoF performance in that player's age group.

Making the HoF about the weighted stats instead of total stats will prevent some of the HoF breaking horseplay going on in GLB1 right now (teams built just to return the ball, teams that target no one but WR3 for ten seasons, teams that target only a single TE for ten seasons, etc.).

The HoF as it stands doesn't or shouldn't just look at the stats, but I think it seems to take into account the ladder rank of the team that the stats were accumulated against. So stats from a 100-0 blowout of the number 1 ladder team would count for more than stats from a 100-0 blowout of the 500th ladder team.

It's still just a lot of RAW stat accumulation. Even with weighting, it's hard to knock something like 40 pancakes in a game.

I've got most of the top o-line players, FB included because of raw pancake numbers and my playcalling. I've got like the #2, #3 and #4 OTs, #1, #2, and #3 Gs and the #2 and #3 C's. The players above mine are Hawaii Bulls players with more pancakes, just due to competition.

All my o-line builds are straight up whores for the pancakes, so it makes sense that they are there, but the blended HoF is pretty much a joke. It probably always will be without any super advanced statistical analysis and using 'classes' that induct veteran players on a seasonal basis (eliminating shifts/changes in the game and just recognizing players who were good in their eras).

There needs to be an "all time HOF" ranking for each "generation".

Unless you choose to play 9 seasons in a row, there isn't much balance there.

You can build in S1, play a couple of seasons, take ten seasons off and then resume playing. The reason that I think season by season HoF averages need to be accounted for is because it is entirely possible for a player to go on hiatus without affecting the build.

This is another reason why we should only play other teams in our tiers. Just de-couple all "generations" from each other. Each tier/generation should have their own ladder and HOF.
