I think so, and I love it.

Just did the math......I must had played 10,000 hours of Tecmo Super Bowl back in the day, at least.

This game is pretty awesome, but it will never hold a candle to Super Bowl (that's what I always called it instead of Super Tecmo Bowl). I'll always remember the epic zig-zagging you have to do on breakaway runs no matter how fast your guy is in order to get all the way to the endzone due to the insane catchup mechanic that game had. It was so damn fun though! Might have to download an emulator and relive some glory days.
