GAME OF THE WEEK!!

This features the #1 Offense/#2 Defense against the #2 Offense/#3 Defense in the league. Here is some break downs on this game. We have 2 of the dominant teams in the league with the top 2 offensive MVP Race Candidates throwing the pigskin. Sarasota has the edge in every offensive category available on this game. Their QB Slingin Sammy Bough despite being a late addition to the team replacing QB Slingin Sammy has lit up the league in passing. He has played only 3 league games yet stands second in yardage for the league. He has been sacked only 7 times this year so far in league play and has a plethora of targets to throw to. With an almost 60% completion rate and 6 td to 0 int he is definitely a threat in the pocket. Now how will he fare to what is the Frogs strength in this matchup? The Frogs have 3 players with 12 or more sacks. They have a defense that has generated twice as many sacks as the Swordfish. The Frogs stand right behind Swordfish in pass def at #3 and run def at #2 with Swordfish being #2 and #1. The Frogs generate a lot of power and threat with 88 sacks year to date compared to Swordfish meager 44. They have also generated 11 forced fumbles to Swordfish only 6. However, the Swordfish also rank #1 in points allowed and havent lost since the beginning of the season where the Frogs are #5 in points against and are sitting at 4-3 with an inactive owner and no gm's. Truly the Frogs would have been better this year with game planning.
Im taking Sarasota by 21 as I think the Oline and QB/WR tandems on Sarasota will be too much as Slingin Sammy Bough throws for 250+ 55% and 2 TD to 0 INT in this one and the ground game will add another 2 scores.
Other Action this week :
Gunslingers face off against the Hippos - Gunslingers holding the #2 spot in the league by half game are heavy favorites to win this one as the Hippos try to get to .500
Utah strike face off against the Democrats in a similar matchup as Gunslingers. Sitting in 3rd place in the league by half game to the Gunslingers the Strike are heavy favorites to defeat the Democrats as they struggle to get back to .500
Park City Miners face off against the Rattlers. Going to sound familiar however with Miners tied for 4th in the league with the Frogs they overmatch the Rattlers who are still looking for that first win. I do not foresee an upset in this one just yet for the Rattlers.
Ambiguously Gay Techmosimmers face off against Misery in what will be the game of .500 as each team is looking for a win to get back to .500. In this one I am taking Misery as they have 2 ties so far in the season and easily could have been looking at a top 5 spot in the league if those they had pulled off those games.
Last game of the week is my upset pick. Owner and General Manager Hookey of the Antlers Bearcats has been seen hitting the recruitment trail looking for solid bodies to replace his CPU players. If he can manage to get a few bodies to help him out I can see him pulling off the upset over Phoenix Pride who are just over .500 ball this season. Could this stretch be the start of the Bearcats turn around for the season? We have 1 more league off day for Hookey to assemble players and make this upset prediction reality. I am picking the Bearcats to win by 3.
