Anybody around here use this on their OL ? Is it worth it's SA points or are there better SA to spend on ?

I'd suggest Get Low instead.

Maybe if the entire Oline had it maxed, it could have an effect if it stacks. I really couldn't tell if it helped on my one guy.

If you mean Guard or Center don't get it. The only really threat in GLB2 is from the edges. But, I would still take Leverage before Wide Load on your off tackle.

I've got it to silver on Air Raids entire O-line (except Centers, which can't add it). I've not decided if I will finish by golding it or not. Probably not. Silver appears to have been useful enough to give our QB the time he needs.

Did you get it in your rookie season ? If so, did it seems to help ?

I did, and if you're going to take it, I'd definitely do it early in the build. Your problem in rookie isn't the guys your linemen are engaging. It's the blitzers they're not engaging, and that's exactly what Wide Load is meant for.

That said, by Seasoned, you're not nearly as worried about blitzers as you are avoiding death by Spin Cycle in pass blocking.

In my current thoughts on the matter, if I'm wanting a pass blocker, I'm going Gold/Gold Leverage/Strong Arm, and then there's a healty debate between wide load or goalline blocker for the third Silver SA.

That's pretty much why WL seamed appealing to me. We handle things well against very good an under teams, but we just get rolled upon by elite teams. It's not that big of a deal, but It's good to know your options on what you can do to help your situation. We will see how my owner see things, Ill hook him up with the thread thought.

Thank you everyone for your answers, if you have more to say on the matter feel free to, more opinions and fact = more useful.

have a nice day,

Well, wide load will help some. But generally, handling the heaviest blitz schemes is just something you have to outgrow with your QB/WR builds. The Oline can build to eliminate 4-5 rushers regularly eventually. That 6th guy either the QB needs to defeat with pocket/pass awareness and a good pass play call, or via rattled having the HB or TE pick him up.

Unless you are playing a team that doesn't have an outside rush, in which case overload blitzes through the gaps is a great way to get to the QB and stuff the run.
