If my team owner is inactive, what does it affect? Is it possible to buy the team from him?

They sometimes do let a GM take over - contact Support and ask http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/support
In general, the team becomes CPU run, while inactive. The computer sends out contracts to players to fill up the roster, they may or may not fit your scheme (or level. Or build quality). Players on the team can receive and sign contracts from other teams, leaving you without warning. And your tactics/depth chart are set by the CPU (even if you, the GM, try, you get overridden). In general, not good things, for team success.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a Team Comment section on the team page so an owner could leave their Email address or better yet...send the owner an email when they go inactive and give them a 2-3 day "Grace Period" before the game kills said team?
