So just getting back into the GLB-verse after a long hiatus. with GLB 2, is there any smart strategy regarding boosting? I know in old-time GLB it was smarter to wait, but I don't have the knowledge here to find that answer.

little help?

Doesn't matter here. There are no ALGs in GLB2 so there's really minimal ways to screw up a build (outside of just raw spending in the wrong places) once the player has been created with their initial maxes/setup.

thanks man. I know in GLB 1 the ALGs were super important.

That's a great advantage that GLB2 has over classic. It takes a new player in classic anywhere between 5-10 seasons to figure out how to build top flight players. In 2 it takes 1-2 seasons.

Also, the ALGs were giving me a headache.

With that in mind I have my first build going on and I've been going with the "path of least resistance" (expense) building. Whatever costs the least I put the points into it until something (or things) cost less. This eventually means everything gets something but certain items with lower per units costs get attention more often. Not sure if it'll work as a strategy but I had nothing else to go by. building a middle LB.

that strategy will probably leave your player really lacking in physicals, which are very important for almost every position. especially something like LB

Yeah, that's a bad build strategy.

Watch how your player performs in games and apply your SPs in areas that they need to perform better.

Luckily glb2 has 3 lifetime respects available. You can reset anything you did after creation.

its only for the previous season's decisions, so first few seasons are the best time.

yup, o ly time its a full respec is before your first sophomore game. After that, rookie expenditures lock in. Same for each season down the line from there.
