Alright so here is the first installment of my new pro top 10 recap. Let me know what you think since this is the first time i have done this. All rankings based on rankings from august 17

Thoughts:
Rankings really shook up so far, will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Nothing really to point out right now Ill have more to expand on this part once we get a few games under our belt.

The third matchup between these two teams and it did not disappoint. Most of the first quarter was a back and forth struggle with no points until Dakota got on the board with 2:22 left as Dakota drove 80 yards down the field with a 15 yard pass from Jamie Alexander to Champ Kind. Salty finally responded back with their own 80 yard drive capping it with a 6 yard touchdown pass from Ragnaros the Firelord to Mifzuna the Wind. Neither team scored in the 3rd quarter. However a early 30 yard field goal early in the 4th opened up the scoring frenzy. On the very next drive Salty drove 72 yards Capped by 16 yard TD pass to tight end Yumi Swiftshot. Dakota answered that with their own 80 yard td drive leaving Salty about 4 mins to score. Salty then drove down the field for another 72 yard td drive scoring with just 1:29 left on the clock leaving Dakota no time to respond.

#2 Hawaii 44 vs Alpine 27 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/101806

This was a pretty lopsided game from the start. Hawaii started the 1st with a Field goal 5 mins in and 5 yard td run by Anthrax Jones 14 mins in. Alpine final got on the board in the second with a ten yard td run by Shaun Bentley but not before Hawaii had already put up 20 points. By then it was over as Hawaii would go on to score another 17 points in the 3rd and 4th quarter to put it away. While Jones won the game MVP Storm was the real MVP averaging 8+ yards a carry and 2 tds in this blowout.

#3 Glasgow 7 vs Minnesota Bad Axes 21 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/101818

We have our first loss in Professional and it comes from the often up and down Rangers who seem to be continuing the bad habit of being inconsistent this season though they have recaptured the 3 spot. It looked like Glasgow's game as they went into the half up 7 to 3 but things just went down hill from there. They allowed an 11 yard Td pass by WR The Sweetness after throwing an interception at their own 22 yard line. After a 4 and out The Axes then drove down the field to kick a 27 yard chip shot to pad the lead to 6. Glasgow never responded as they never got into the redzone after that. The Axes alll but sealed the game with a 17 yard td pass to Wr The Sweetness for his second td of the game.

#4 Harrisonburg Bulldogs 34 vs Iowa Rogues 27 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/101812

A tight game that came down to the wire as Pro takes their record to 3-1 so far. Despite the Bulldogs having no running game this game they managed to outscore Iowa 20 to 14 going into the second half and the second half looked even worse for Iowa as they gave up an interception on their first drive that lead to another Bulldogs td. Iowa refused to quit though as Laser threw his 3rd td pass of the game soon after and lead them to a field goal to tie it up with 14 mins left. They managed to hold the Bulldogs till there was 3 mins left in the game as Yukiko threw a 20 yard td pass to WR Garry clark. Iowa responded with a 3 and out that basically sealed their fate as the Bulldogs just ran out the clock.

#5 Air Raid 54 vs Portland Cardinals 24 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/101822

This makes 4-1 for Pro as Air Raid looks like the Air Raid of 2 seasons ago as they have started 3-0 and beaten a good Harrisonburg team. The cardinals made Air Raid sweat a bit as they scored the first 10 points but then Air Raid responded with 38 straight points and Portland never recovered from that onslaught as they manged to throw up 14 garabage time points.

Salty still hasn't drawn a top 10 yet are in the top 10. No clue how Hawaii drew 4 top five teams last year. (rip providence)

to be fair on that, our ladder win wasn't as strong as your ladder win. Otherwise, yeah, we'd have probably hopped Harry. This time we're playing up in ladder, and ya'll are playing down. If we both win, I'd think Air Raid will be right up there with Glasgow and Harrisonburg for 3rd.

Took longer than i expected, gunna leave it at top 5 for this thread and work on it earlier for this next ladder.

Other than the wrong score on Iowa Rogues, and my not understanding the first sentence of the Air Raid writeup at first glance (I figured out you were talking about the Pro vs Vet record later), looks pretty good

Picking 3 highlights per team is a bunch of work I bet. Probably better to just pick one, and put a brief description on it to convince people to click it

Maybe i kinda liked 3 for each because i fell like theres always more than one good play. And ill have to fix that kinda rushed through it.

It's good USC. If you wanna do 3 plays for each team, then do 3 plays for each team. I'm just thinking if I were watching the replays to writeup a story, I'd probably just do one to save that small amount of time. There's no question what you did here took at least an hour, and that's a bunch of time to do something for free, especially if you're intending to do the top 10 in the future.

Yeah, nice job on this USC, it adds a lot to the game experience.

Next recap should be fun. Already some interesting results today in the Pro ranks. Iowa Rogues losing to Harrisonburg a few days ago and beating Hawaii today was pretty noteworthy I thought.
