Time to see where everyone went. So far I see Dakota moving to tiger gamma with Portland and legacy and Europa welcoming Glasgow into gamma with base breakers (muhaha)

Down to 3 Leagues - Mars is way overpowered still but they may not be done tweaking - not sure if there is much consideration given to making the divisions balanced inside a league

here's hoping for another round to help bring venus and europa up a bit

yeah europa has 7 of the bottom 10 teams - be nice to have a bit more balance

just my feelings obviously, if the ladder is 95% playing veteran teams it's fun to have games against old rivals at the league level.

Eagle got weaker. It's pretty much a two team league between MEM and QC. Hub City could cause an upset here or there.

That's not the way GLB2 leagues were designed. The leagues are meant to hold teams (and rivalries) together, not be in an uber balance environment (more akin to what GLB1 has). That's why changes only occur when entire leagues are folded, and the remaining are merged into an existing league environment.

It doesn't seem totally unbalanced to me, Rom_Fox. But it would have been awesome if Salty got added to our league to renew the Eris League Rivalry.

So what's going to happen when current pro teams move up to vet next season? Are those leagues gonna merge with the current vet teams?

I assume they'll cobble leagues together from all vet teams. If, for example, Komodo folds next season, the Komodo teams might get sent into Tiger league, might get sent to Mars league. It's gonna be all muddled up once teams start hitting vet.

I'd bet that they stick together, unless of course a league's CPU ridden and then those teams were merger into leagues of the same age (meaning they could jump to San animal league) as normal.

Corndog where you at?

Looks like Osprey has not lost a team this season! Amazing the history that league has, I think total have lost 5 teams over 5 seasons. I can do some research, but pretty stable league.

But think 3, 4, 5 seasons down the line - while a few S1 and S2 teams might be around still, many more will have folded or reset. A vet team will have to be a vet team - regardless of what season you started, once you hit vet, you're all the same, so logically you'll have some Animal teams in Solar leagues, to be joined a few seasons later by a President, and then when that league folds, the remaining teams will have to be shuttled over to a Gem league. There's no reason to try to keep teams that came up together in the same league, once the leagues are equal.
