Anyone have advice on how to improve coverage? My guy is more agile than the WR according to combine numbers yet he can't make these cuts or stick with the WR ever. My CB got used and abused for 13 catches allowed in the last ladder game.

IMO, Keep pumping Man Awareness, Coverage Tech, Deflection, and Footwork. Gold OaI and then start working on 3DS. 2 of the 3 replays you linked he made a play on the ball, he just didn't win his deflection roll. He's allowing a 49% reception rate. You're on the right path.

Since I'm the GM/HC of CVB, I'll give you my take.

Your CB build is fine. Our WRs are good.

We have a S* QB and Sedita (2nd replay) is a S* WR.

A lot of it is the fact that we push matchups hard. The Defensive play calling is hard to get right against us. Thus we have the advantage. We run outside, inside and throw slants, hooks and go routes out of 3WR and 4WR. There's no way for the HC/ DC to put you or any other player in an optimal spot. There's no D play that stops all that. It's just a question of where you want to bleed.

I think I saw that we averaged 7+ per play in 4WR and almost 7 in 3WR. Our play calling balance mentioned above is one reason we can do this. And 6 S* on O doesn't hurt.

Grats on the game. You guys got 2 turnovers and made stops when you needed to.

I will attest to the fact they are a B*tch to play

IMO, You don't need any more man awr or.covg tech for a while. I'd pump deflecting to 50ish and continue with physicals.

Increase heart to avoid some bad early rolls leading to a bad game.
