You can start a group willing to do this. There were 2 draft groups in GLB1. I will not join. This was done as more of a private forum group that said a sacred ritual or something. To avail, this will not be apart or an option of this game aka NGTH.

Think of it more as college football where teams only get x amount of scholarship money. Thats glb2s system

An official draft will never be implemented in GLB. Users pay money to play the game. If there is a forced draft then users lose the ability to control their own player.

In GLB Classic some individual users came up with an opt-in draft where teams and agents signed up to participate.

I think that never really worked out. I have done that once (I think in season 8 or 9, or something) and it was highly unorganized. People we breaking the own set rules, draftees joined other teams, when they werent happy with the draft. Teams just signed players they werent allowed to sign. And teams that werent part of the draft networks obviously didnt stick to the network rules as well. Just chaotic and after a season no one cared about the networks. At least thats my experience with being part of a draft network...

Draft has the distinction of being a very good ida that's a really really bad idea in a glb setting unfortunately. It sounds like fun but then you'd get drafted 1st over all to a crappy team that goes inactive in week 3 or someone else signs your draft pick just because. Also once cookie cutter builds arrive you get the choice of 25 players that are exactly the same!

I still think its a good idea only for Rookies and CPU teams

Please, explain why you think this is a good idea. Why should players not be allowed to pick their own team?

Who would draft the players on a CPU team? The CPU? It just would be random.

And like pottsman said, please provide an explantaion to the question: Why would it be good to be forced to play for a team you cant choose?

Yeah i unlocked it, i want to hear his reasoning. I was involved in one year of the draft, the team that drafted my player never sent him a contract, but signed someone elses draft pick, so i waited and missed a couple games, then just retired it. ESA is correct, it was a chaotic mess, with people doing what they want.
