How about giving us a little more Corndog?

What is in store for next season?

You mentioned a new offensive formation - can we get some pictures (like you gave us on Defense last season)?

What else?

Is there any hope of improved end of half logic?
What kind of tweaks will be implemented?

Well, the new formation is using some new logic/mechanics for old play types, so if it works well can port it over to old formations. Will hopefully be at least a couple fixes to end of half stuff. Also more bug fixes that I can't remember.

I obsess way too much over making new plays. I've spent the past 7 hours making, adjusting, starting over, and tweaking one single passing play. And it'll still probably be crap.

passing play you say?

Are there fullbacks in this new formation? The correct response is "no"

nice - I wish I could +1 you. Thanks for the quick response.

New plays are fun -- I'd be curious though if Stobie could run his super duper script and see how often last seasons new defensive plays got run this season in real games.

I know you have skin tougher than steel -- but I hope we don't get a barrage of "7 hours on 1 play and X is still broken!?!" posts?

Thanks for all the hard work

Corndog,

Do you use Assembla or something similar to track code changes and thus make it easier to compile a list of bug fixes?

We use SVN to handle our internal code updates.

You still have to type in the description/comments on each update. While I try to keep them relevant, a bug fix that takes 10 minutes can slip out of my mind by the time I upload my code at the end of the week.

It's easy enough to go back through to code to check if it was fixed, and considering I'm the only one really working on code, yeah.

Steve, can you recall what the plays were? I have a whole seasons worth of data I can look at, but I can't remember the playid's

I'm also probably going to add a "Renew All" button for contracts on home page, opening the contract page and accepting for a dozen players is one hell of a hassle.
