My vote goes to:

singleback spread - WR screen weak & WR screen strong

Holy hell those are awful. It's comical how terrible the WR3 or WR4 bubbling out for a screen is.

My line from testing those plays today in Air Raid's game against Philadelphia:

6/9 for -12 yards. One pass nearby defenses, 2 passes deflected. No completions for positive yardage.

And for good measure, I tried the WR1 bubble screen from singleback too. That crap doesn't work when you've got another WR out there with you. That extra CB defeats the purpose of trying to bait them into a block on the inside.

I can't believe I won this game.

weren't you bragging about how your HBs were catching screens like yesterday?

yeah, those didn't look bad. I've been trying out a couple different screens at a time the last few games.

These from today. *whistles* They're b-a-d. They need to be burned by Corndog. I don't even know how you'd tweak them to make them work. They're miserable.

My real vote goes to anything where a wr does a 1 or 2 yard route. Without consistent yac that shit is terrible.

You should have challenged that play, I think the ball bounced off the ground before the CB caught it.

haha yeah. Love it when the throw is off short too so they cut back to the LOS or worse to catch it and get tackled. Wanna convert 3rd and 2? Better pick routes at least 4-5 yards downfield.

No the best is when they come back to the LoS, cross it, catch the pass for negative yardage and then get your entire O "Showboated".

Ya those plays should have been so successful vs MO and they were just fucking awful because players have almost no yac self awareness and are often caught coming back too far. You get this same problem a lot with the lead code in glb 1 too but players actually understand the concept of continuing rather than falling down or doing something entirely useless.

had the trips wr3 screen in for a while. wr with 75ish balance used to fall down all the time. watched a game last night for the first time in a couple weeks and he didn't fall down once. had a couple 15 yardish gains out of it mixed in with some tfls.

Yeah, and considering YAC is so hard to come by in congested areas, that shit is ALWAYS terrible...

Basically, all HB screens suck.

Here's an actual (Ladder) game, where I ran nothing but HB screens: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/93928

(Ok there's one HB run in there.)

Net of sacks, I was at NEGATIVE 100 yards for the game.

My HB (2 out of 3) are Scat Backs.

Yes, this is Rookie, but c'mon already.

QB Rollout was nerfed mid-season because the average play was producing 16 yards, vs a universe average of 4-5.

These HB screens are producing average yards, net of sacks, of -1.3.

And this is against Blitzes, which is exactly where Screens should perform best!

CORNDOG, FIX THIS!

If you'll immediately fix QB Rollout because it's 10 yards ABOVE the average of where it should be, why can't/wouldn't you fix Screens with the same sens of urgency when they are UNDERperforming by as much?

Screens should blow Blitzes up. Instead, they are a disaster.

But no attention is being paid to them, and they are nowhere on the Roadmap of potential fixes.

Screens are solid in later tiers when the QB learns to throw an accurate pass (in rookie qbs don't have the skills to do it).
