Whatever you thought you knew about Adam League, Week 12 wants you to just throw it out and start over again. After Week 11 (and numerous other weeks), it's almost like pushing the reset button on however you thought these story lines would play out during the off-season.
Who would of thought that the Live Oak Eagles would be the only team to defeat the Stunners, or that LUELinks would be even more of a threat than Nebraska? Who could have guessed that our last season MVP Peter Venkman would drop game after game and allow a surprisingly sluggish Eastern European Alliance team to cut their throats open? Who had Gamma as not only the toughest division in Adam, but the most potent group in all of football? What a season this has been?
Well Week 12 pledge to have all of the drama and even more

(7-4) Rare Breed Rookies vs (4-7) Winnipeg Wrath
glwarriors is up to to his old tricks again, as he is living proof that no early-season deficit is too much to overcome. Remember when the Winnipeg were mirrored in a five-game losing streak? No? Neither do the Wrath. QB Ned Simmons has a pulse and the defense has drastically stepped up. A respectable record of 4-2 in the last 6, is all Winnipeg wish to be known for.
The Wrath will attempt to replicate some of the things Stunners accomplished against the Breed Rookies offense. The difference is that Winnipeg doesn't have anywhere near the same tools to work with on defense.
In this Division- Winnipeg is officially on "I'll believe they win again when I see it" probation.
Weird things can happen on any given game, but it would be an upset of the highest magnitude if the Wrath defeat the Rookies this week.
I've been riding the Rare Breed's train for quite a while, and I'm not getting off now. It's a brand new day, and high hopes is still fresh in the air. QB Blake Bortles will throw and throw some more. The team has more drops than rain, but it splashes Touchdowns.
And when you have a Strong Safety like Jimmie Ward lurking around the field, it's going to get bloody.
(10-1) Minnesota Stunners vs (4-7) Eastern European Alliance
The Minnesota Stunners and Eastern European Alliance are two of the most infamous teams in the Beta Division, albeit for very different reasons.
For the Alliance, it's the surreal saga of a dysfunctional defense and only having QB Ernest P. Worrell carry the pride of the team on his shoulders. The season has been a train wreck from the get-go.
EEA’s best weapon is its aerial attack, and that should be neutralized by Minnesota’s league greatest Coverage Duo CB Cake Bells and CB Cake Bills. They will need only to contain the league's most dangerous Wide receiver- who goes by the name of Johnny "Fucking" Football. Which even the blind can see that won't be enough for European.
For the Stunners it's a much happier tale, singing the praises of "Soon to be MVP" HB Jimbo Jumpback and Right "Imani" Cross has this team on a seven-game winning streak. This places Minnesota in the thick of raising that championship trophy.
Stopping us is nearly impossible right now
The dynamic defense led by DE Digital Underground is tough to game-plan against, even for the greatest of Offenses. EEA will struggle to get behind our pass coverage, but they'll have even bigger problems with our pass rush.
(4-7) LaPaz Challengers vs (1-10) Pittsburgh Titans
Peter Venkman and the Challengers may not be the team arcjedi wanted them to be in season 5, and hell they may not even be a team that has much of a chance at contending with in season 6. But LaPaz needs a bounce-back game in the worst way to help boost their confidence. Fortunately for them, Pittsburgh is about as hapless as it gets right now.
It seems so long ago that the Challengers were the class of the division, but loaded losses and shaken confidence have added up.
Though LaPaz have a plethora of offensive issues....
The Titans defense pinky promise not to put up a fight.
(7-4) Pawnee Goddesses vs (4-7) Live Oak Eagles
Live Oaks are always better and worse than we think. It's strange, right?
Pawnee squeaked past Gangsta Wit it' last week, but a decisive win here will say to everyone in their Division "We are not to be FUCK With"! HB Beast Bailey should get a lot of help from his offensive line to keep the sticks moving.
Pawnee have multiple ways they can beat you, but the Eagles only win if HB Bringing Thunder is playing efficiently.
Yes, the Goddesses have their flaws, but there's no way they are going into this game without a lot of fire and a need to end post season discussion for all others in Alpha. The key will be Pawnee Goddesses's offense. What they don't accomplish through the air with Bert Macklin should come easier on the ground.
Live Oaks is too busted up and not playing well enough to hang with Pawnee.
(0-11) Miami Fusion vs (9-2) LUELinks LUEshis
Miami Fusion and LUELinks LUEshis are having similar seasons in some respects.
A.k.a Redmond's Imposters impressed many pundits with a win-less season
Meanwhile, LUEshis surprised this League by being Elite at all. My prediction would of had Lue 3rd in our division and maybe the 4th or 5th best team in Adam but the funkiest swagging colors you ever saw have exceeded expectations.
LUELinks and their fearsome front DE Here I come and One Kill One Shot will make this one a laughter as Miami's offense struggles to gain any traction. It's also a no-brainer that Fusion defense doesn't have the athletes to keep up with cocaine and hookers QB im a virgin.
(7-4) Gangsta Wit it' vs (9-2) 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers
This week's showcase is a game rife with subplots. With a hard-nose divisional match this big, it's only fair to get a take from both sides.
While the Cornhuskers simply refuse to go away, Gangsta Wit it' have squandered several opportunities to carve themselves a Division seat into the play-offs, as they were dealt yet another crushing blow to their gold chasing dreams.
I expect them to come in hot under the collar after their rough game against Pawnee. If Gangsta Wit it runs the ball, plays defense and creates some opportunities for Robo Jock to test the Nebraska's secondary- I guess I can see the Gangstaz coming home with the win, but Don't be surprised if this one has at least a little flavor of "offensive struggle" as the teams feel each other out in the first half. That said, it's going to be difficult to hold HB Damen Benning and Ahman Green down for long.
If quarterbacks are the most important people on offense, than it's safe to state that the guy responsible for hitting, sacking and damaging the opposing team's quarterback are the most important people on defense. That's why pass-rusher LB Octavious Mcfarlin- who leads the league in sacks is so valuable, as focusing on one's passing attack continues to be the go-to trend in GLB....so will Octavious popularity. He's also accepting his role to play in coverage quite well which makes him the most diverse Linebacker on land.,
If the Gangstaz are going to get back into things in the Gamma Division, this is the week to do it. Another loss, and it's play-out-the-string time. Do Gangsta Wit it have a shot? Yes. Do I expect them to pull it off? Unfortunately for boldtroll, I do not.
However, sometimes good teams have to find a way to win ugly.
