Ok so it says you need to be in underneath zone coverage with over the top help (i am assuming that would be a safety behind you and you're playing under him?)

Is it me or does this just have such a low chance to fire with 1 star in rookie ball or is it broken? I am hoping underneath coverage doesn't specifically only mean playing zone in the flats cause that would be stupid.

can someone explain how Eyes on the Prize works or what is the best setup to get it to start firing?

From replays I watch from Paragonal it looks like you're running man plays and that's you're only rookie team

Could be used for a number of positions with the all zone defenses. But as far as Man cover plays go, probably best only for safeties or LB's in cover 1. Specifically the safety robber plays imo.

Honestly I think you just have to chalk it up to pretty low chances of firing unless you are running like Cover 2-4 zone plays and forcing underneath throws. At the same time you are a rookie team so forcing stuff like that without just getting lit up is incredibly difficult.

Any zone that's not one of the deep shell zones it'll work. But no, its not worth it. I've seen it fire once on an actual interception. We've toyed with zones off and on again for four seasons now. Have guys on our roster with this golded. Its a trap to waste your SA points on.

I don't think it's a good enough SA to begin with.

I'm pretty sure all SAs (may be wrong) that have negatives to them start with high negatives and get lower as the star numbers go up. Doesn't really make sense why this one ends in -15 tackling technique if a pass is complete.

Well, its better than pick six anyhow. Who wants an SA that only has a chance to fire maybe a half dozen times a season? And then, its not like the bonus is massive or anything. at least with eyes on the prize, you might see it fire a bunch in a full zone scheme. Might not really change your INTs much, but it will at least fire.

If zones weren't so awful, it might be a good SA choice.

What is the + to Int for Gold? Might get it for my LBs.

15. I wouldn't get it till the last SA you invest in though. Closing Speed to gold is going to payoff much more as a first SA to Gold than a boost to an INT skill you really can't afford to invest heavily into early on, and which requires so many other support skills to really be useful.

It's not like the current crop of rookies is littered with top-flight passing threats you need to worry about for a couple seasons.

Thanks...I am not getting Closing Speed for my coverage LBs. They will be getting Gold Monster Hit, Gold Third Down Stopper and probably Silver Eye on the Prize. I don't think you can gold the last SA.

Vader S*, will get Gold Monster Hit, Gold Third Down Stopper and Gold First Step or Closing Speed...haven't decided yet.

Either way, they all will be golding Monster Hit and Third Down Stopper first.

I'm golding this on my coverage LBs who will end their build with 45 INT. They play underneath zone on every single play and it will fire %50 of the time. So I'm looking at +15 to INT AND +5 to Quickness and Sprinting on half of my plays. Add to that Gold Third Down Stopper, and they will have some serious coverage skills going on during 3rd down.
