Going into week 11 there is only Beta division which is still interesting with the Panters, Test Tubes and Flawed all after the 2 playoffs spots.
I am currently 44-16 going into this week and there is only likely one game that can trip me up this week…in fact there is only one game of any interest this week, the others are either cup cakes or meaningless!
Blitzkrieg Panthers Vs Phuket Nightwalkers
Game of the Week
CW01 had a glimpse of the Hookers in the last ladder match (he DC's for the team the Hookers were shut out by!!) and came out on top.
This time though he has a Geeky Robot to play with and might well be facing a different Hookers offense
These are two of the tightest defences in Hydra…and also two of the best offences (both teams are top 3 in offence and defence) so something will have to give. Can the Hookers stop the Geeky Robot QB rushing all over them? Will the Panters be able to stop Gaius? My guess is that the Panters D will Blitz and look for that elusive Moral Spiral (ZEB anyone?). My prediction is that the Panters do what WCW couldn’t and put Gaius on his back and take advantage of the poor street walkers…in fact looking at the ladder match the hookers had better pack some vaseline otherwise it could be an uncomfortable journey back to Phuket (it’s a real place you know!!). Panters win by 2 TD's and make the final round of divisional games VERY interesting in Beta.
Flawless Victory Vs Maine Blue Jays
Flawed have been on a Rampage since Week 5 and are undefeated in league play since that defeat to WCW, they currently sit at 13 in the ladder ranks, that’s higher than both Phuket, and the Test Tube Turtles making them the #3 team in Hydra behind WCW & the Panters!
This will be a walk in the park for Raiden et al and they will get chance to stat whore in this one.
Flawed by a bunch.
Roman Testudo Vs Minnesota Golden Lizards
The Test Tube Turtles are beasts, the Blizards are…Turtle food, this wont even be close. I think both TTT (test tube turltes) and Flawed will be hoping the Hookers can beat the Panters to set things up in Beta…this game certainly wont be a problem for TTT and they will tear it up against the shockingly bad Blizards.
North Conway RiverMonsters Vs Oklahoma City Warriors
I hate the Fish , I pick them to win most of the "battle of the shockers" games and they lose them all…their entire offense is currently inactive (again) and the Worriers have a full CPU roster…I'm going with the fish though…just for the Defense which SHOULD carry them through…if they lose now I will not pick them again!!!!!!
Orlando Slugs Vs Wesley Chapel Warriors
Rage & Fury have led WCW to the Alpha championship already..granted the combined record of the other teams in Alpha is 11-19 (not as bad as Gamma I know which is 8-22!!). This game will see Rage & Fury wrack up the numbers and see WCW end up with a cricket score..granted this may not work for those Americans with limited cricket knowledge…for you guys delete cricket and insert basketball
Houston Cuckholders Sad Man Vs Oregon Bulldawgs
The cockholders looked as thoguh they might challenge Phuket for the division at one point, but since then they have gone 1-6 and are out of it (Granted their last 3 league games have been Flawed, Panters & TTT!!!). They will beat the doggies though.
A little late for week 11 but with more writing…I'm bored can you tell?
