Week 9 has come and gone...and the playoff picture is still muddy as all get out.

Alpha:
The battle is on to win the division. There will be no wild card here.

Pawnee has a 1 game lead on Lapaz - and Live Oak is another game back.

Pawnee has 2 byes (Redmond / Pittsburgh) - then Gangsta/Live Oak/LaPaz
LaPaz has 1 bye (Pittsburgh) then EEA/Nebraska/Pawnee/Live Oak

Gotta give the advantage to Pawnee here.


Beta:

A two team race for the division...and potentially the wild card. Would it be brutal if Minnesota or LUE miss the playoffs?!!?

Minnesota has a 1 game lead at the moment and 1 upcoming bye (Redmond) - and Nebraska / Rare Breed / EEA / and LUE to close out the season. Gotta be one of the toughest remaining schedules in all of GLB

LUE has the same bye (Redmond) then Gangsta, Wrath, EEA, Stunners

Going to be ROUGH. Stunners have a tougher schedule (with Nebraska upcoming) -- anad a 1 game lead - so I'll say the current lead comes to the stunners.

Interesting thing though - it could be possible for the final league game (Minn vs LUE) to be a winner take all game - with the winner winning the division...and the loser missing the playoffs. That would be BRUTAL.


Gamma:
Gamma is VERY similar to Beta. Rare Breed is still in the picture - 2 games out of 1st...and currently 1 game (or 1.5?) out of the wild card.

Nebraska with a 1 game lead - upcoming: Stunners, LaPaz, Gangsta, Wrath, Rare Breed

Gangsta: LUE, Pawnee, Nebraska, Rare Breed, Wrath

Rare Breed: Live Oak, Stunners, Wrath, Gangsta, Nebraska

Also 3 brutal schedules. Gotta go with Nebraska's current 1 game lead as the deciding factor.


What are your picks for the Playoffs? How gets the Wild Card? Who misses the playoffs?

No matter what - we are going to have at least 2 REALLY good teams miss the playoffs.

Going to be Pawnee, Minnesota, Nebraska with LUE in wildcard imo.

apart from the one run im pretty sure benning got bitch slapped by the imposters

I would like the idea of having LaPaz in the play-off but I think Pawnee will end up getting it done when it gets back to Division games

Of course I have the Stunners, but that makes our next game a must win

Nebraska is in no danger of giving up that Division. It may look close, but do not fall in love with the illusion.

The way Lue is playing, it would be unfortunate for them to miss the play-off. The game between Gangster and Lue for our next league games will be pivotal.

SO what does LUE beating Gangsta mean? Are we guaranteed yet?

That was a huge win for Lue. It might just be the deciding factor on who is out and who is in

LaPaz has been slowly sinking for awhile. I just thought by now there would be some kind of band aid used to get you guys into the post-season

Gamma division is just insane this year, shitty draw for the wraith but rare breed is my favorite to take the division over me.
