All I know is after the games this week, Osprey put 11 teams in the top 50 - everyone but the Orphans.
And Tampa's never reaching the top 4 at this rate.

What should be interesting with top teams will they stay around and rebuild or will they respec thus throwing away all their rankings.
League W/L clearly show how close all the Osprey teams are, and frankly Orphans are not far behind, just not managed hardly at all. We have a new OC there and with some evaluations this offseason we will be replacing players to make it competitive as it was just a filler team up until now, but its holding good teams possibly from joining Osprey so they need to step it up.

I'm sure we'll see a mix of strategies, like in GLB1 - some teams will just attempt to recruit every season to keep the roster full, some teams will have planned farm teams roll in, and some teams will reset and let the farm team come up. Depending on how severe the chem hit really is, we may see some teams phase in the roster rollover each season, too.
With the elo rankings, there's some motivation for the very top teams like DD to keep their team, but otherwise it's not that bad to just bring up the new team. For some it may come down to which league they want to play in - the older league or the newer one (and of course it may not matter because that league may break up).

I might be done owning a team after this season. Big project at work and another kid on the way means that my gameplanning time has mostly disappeared.

yeah i think i am going to retire my players, i will keep one of my tackles around since he is a freebie but the rest are probably heading to the old folks home.

B-Squad, I think, will stick. We haven't discussed it yet in the forums, but I really think staying until that Vet level is the plan. Go thru the full cycle and then maybe reboot if we are feeling groovy. I will say - B-Squad has been really really fun to own. Even though we've never been able to put that champ run just yet - most everybody on the team has Rudy syndrome and we believe every season is the season. Pretty stellar group of folks on B-Squad.

Just taking a season off during the summer vacation
