The Emerald City Osprey are fresh off our inaugural win and still looking to fill some gaps on our roster.
All roster spots are in open competition and starting snaps will be earned but all players will get significant playing time.
Here's our top defensive needs:
3rd Safety, versatile enough to play both SS and FS. Aiming to get all safeties roughly equal snaps. Zone focused with some blitzing responsibilities.
Nickel Corner, strong zone coverage and some blitzing skills.
2 CBs - zone coverage specialists
DT tilted toward run stuffing but not inept passrusher.
DE tilted toward pass rushing ability but not inept at run defense.
Coverage LB (zone cov)
Blitzing LB with some zone coverage
