OK Ladies and Gents...now that we have a few games under our belts, we can start to see how this league is taking shape. No point in predictions when you pretty much do a coin flip. With that said, lets get to it
New Jersey vs Texas City
This game will features 2 teams trending in complete opposite directions. New Jersy has come out of the gate strong with their 4th ranked offense and best rushing D in the league. Texas City hasnt been all horrible as their offense lies about right in the middle of the league...but when you give up more points then any other team in the league, you dont win games. And I dont see this game any differently
NJ 42- 7
Syndicate Jags vs FBU Heat
This game could prove to have some serious play-off implications down the road if these 2 teams keep trending the way they're going. Both are sitting at .500 and want to keep their play-off chances alive. I give the edge to the Jags as they have the 2ed best Passing offense in the league which is enough to give them the 2ed best offense and highest scoring team in the league. ON paper this should be a no brainer, but I have been in a league for several seasons with FBU and this will be the last team to roll over for anyone. They have been battling up hill battles since I can remember and they always find a way to stay in the game. Unfortunatly, they wil come up short from that high flyin passing game
Jags 31-7
Twin City Shockers vs Boston Generals
Another game with play-off implications, the Generals come out of the gate on fire and crushing the competition in front of them. With the 3rd best offense and the best defense for not giving up points, this team will truly be hard to stop. Twin City is another team I have past experiences with and like FBU, will lie down to no one. The offense hasnt quite found its mark yet stayin right in the middle of the pack. However the D better find out soon as they have been the real reasons for their losses. UNforutnatly their D still wont have an answer for a strong offense.
Generals 24-6
Oakland Shanks vs Out to Lunch
Prolly the only easy game to pick this week. Its not hard to see this is your typical David vs Goalith, and unfortunatly for david, he wont be pulling off any miracles on this day
Shanks 34-0
Columbus Wardogs vs Baltimore Bull dogs
Another fairly easy game to pick, juts not as easy as the Sharks game. The Wardogs holding the much bigger advanatge in this one and should easily win this game. However there is something about the Bull Dogs that just tells me this team isnt as bad as their records indicate. This is my one upset pick of the week.
Bull dogs 14-13
***Game of the Week***
SER vs Murder City
And now we've come to IMO the game of the week. This week it features 2 teams that went at it in the beginning...and I mean season 1 of GLB 2. Both of these teams come on in the late league of Gator...(Jamz you prolly thought I forgot the ol gator) Back then the Gator league was a very tough league hosting teams like Providence Radicals, Minnesota Stunners, Iowa Rogues, etc... Lets bring it back to current. Kinda a flip flop of what it was then, SER remains 1 of the 2 unbeatens in the Draco League. And although MCM is .500, we know all to well not to take them lightly. Jamz is a great owner and knows how to win. SER comes in with the best D in the Draco League and top rushing game. while MCM brings the 2ed best passing D in the league. ON paper, I'd say SER holds an advantage, but paper means nothing. Were still fresh in a Rookie season and anything can happen. Im going to be biased on this one and is about the only way I come to my prediction
