Season: 13-5
This week: 4-2
Portland vs Jershon
The 2 and 3 rushing teams, and the 1 and 2 defenses meet up this week. Should be a close, defensive game. This is a big game for both teams, as neither wants to be at .500. I think it comes down to whichever team can force more turnovers on defense, and I expect Portland to pull it out.
W: Portland 17-14
A: Portland 49-0
New York vs Dallas
Both teams have been struggling to start this season. Dallas lost to all of Alpha in the first divisional round, and NY only pulled a win out against a CPU team. Despite that, New York has faced better teams than Dallas, and I think this is the week the new defense fits together.
W: New York 24-13
A: Dallas 28-14
Shaolin vs Seattle
Seattle pulled off their first win against Dallas last week, and has had decent success in ladder games, whereas Shaolin has yet to win a game this season against non-CPU foes. This week, chemistry isn't a huge disadvantage for Shaolin, as they face a similarly low-chemistry team in Seattle. However, their ladder games have shown that they still have some work to do on the offensive side of the ball, as they've put up a total of 20 points this season against non-CPU opponents. Look for this to be a closer one for Shaolin, but Seattle takes the W.
W: Seattle 24 - 10
A: Seattle 23-6
Midgar vs Rapper's Delight
Last year when these two teams met in the league games, it was a defensive showdown, with Midgar only winning by an FG in the 4th. This season, I think things will be different. Midgar will break a couple of long runs for scores, but Rapper's Delight's run defense might be the first defense Midgar can't break.
W: RD 24-21
A: RD 31-14
Jacksonville vs Montgomery
The battle of the CPU teams! I think Montgomery will win, by pure reason of having more human players. Bonus points to whomever watches this game live and proves it.
W: Montgomery 28-14
A: Jacksonville 20-12
Vandelay vs Baltimore - GAME OF THE WEEK
This may be the last time two undefeated teams face off in Lithium this season! Baltimore has surprised many with their strong start to the season, while Vandelay has surprised many with how stingy their defense is in giving up points. This will be a high-scoring game, and a good chance for Baltimore to prove that they mean business, and they just aren't beating up on a weak division. Still, I'm obviously biased, and think Vandelay will continue on to 4-0.
W: Vandelay 34-24
A: Vandelay 31-10
