Ok so i know there has been a thread or to about kicking with nothing happening about it. However i thought that if Bort and them want to keep going with this stupid unrealistic kicking sim that makes it impossible to get 3 points, especially in rookie, then maybe you can make it less frustrating on us by giving us the option under offense to make a play in 4th & Inches. I say this cose right now me in real life with a broken ankle could kick better than these so called 'Professional' Kickers.

It really cant be that hard to add an extra option to go for it on 4th&Inches and make it so there is some moral drop or something if you decide to go for it on 4th down. Obviously you wont make it stupid so that you can go for it everytime on 4th down but just in those 40-25 yards FG, that you think your kicker will make but doesnt, situations. Just a suggestion but this come on how long can you keep going with Kickers missing easy Field Goals.

uh i would always go for it on 4th and inches. No brainer.

Instead of this horrible kicking sim i think everyone would but as i said in the original post you would have to kepe it to certain yardages otherwise it would be abused.

Eh missed FG's are part of the game. I know I share my frustration with misses but it is entirely more fun with them than it is with someone stuffing it up the middle 3 straight times to get an easy first down.

Yeah i agree with that but missing from less than 30 yards out without it being blocked is crazy. If you are going to make kickers miss from that range and it not being in a pressure situation at least make it because of a block rather than a ridiculously unreal miss.

I dunno my Pro kicker has made 11/14 FG's this season. That is pretty good. His caps could be higher too. The only skill I have over 73 is consistency at 80.

Rookie WR drop a lot of passes, rookie QBs get sacked much and rookie kickers miss easy field goals. If rookie WR would catch all balls, rookie QBs would avoid every pass rush and rookie kickers would make every field goal, why in the hell would you recruit older players?

I have a kicker as well and yes it is frustrating to keep missing in the first 2 to 3 seasons, but it gets noticeable better, with every season.

I get that i really do but even missing XP man the only time that really happens in real life is if it gets blocked. Noone just plain misses a XP

I also get your point. Missing easy kicks and even xps is frustrating and makes you dislike the game. But still, what is the alternative? Have a rookie kicker convert all xps and short field goals? Again, why would you field a kicker thats older? There has to be improvment on the stats when your player gets older.

Maybe making XP blockable instead of being missed would make things better and add a new dimension to players?

Probably, but it is way harder to code, I guess.
