yeah I think is cool but just was not sure how our ranking effect your teams rankings. I will be happy with just scoring a TD in todays game TBH..

It's all one ladder actually. Corndog just split up the tiers to give more clarity of where you stand amongst your peers.

You still earn ELO as normal based on the ELOs of the teams playing.
The entire ladder is sorted by ELO and your place in the ladder for your tier is simply an extension of the ELO rakings.
