Gonna just keep this thread going.

Week 2 Ladder: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5189254?page=last#48563930

Week 1 Ladder

#1 Doinitin Djibouti vs. #9 Seattle Seahawks

Neither team had to put much effort into their opening league games so not much to go by. The Seahawks fell a bit late last season but I think they are back and ready to party so this could be an interesting matchup.

DD: 31-21

Seattle: 28-31 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82380

#2 Sunday Funday vs. #4 New Jersey Generals

Both teams had some kinda intense opening league games and each came out on top. The last meeting between the 2 went Funday's way. But with the sim pushing more in favor running and less passing this could be a much closer battle.

SF: 24-14

NJ: 18-24 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82381

#3 Queen City Brewmasters vs. #5 Tampa Piranhas

Yet another solid matchup of 2 good defenses. Neither team had much of a problem in their opening league games and somehow they went all last season without playing each other. I expect kinda a lower scoring affair.

Tampa: 20-17

Tampa: 21-38 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82382

#6 Rusty's Ruins vs. #7 Erkner Razorbacks

Here is a tail of 2 teams going opposite directions if week one league play is any indication. Rusty cruised past Santiago while Erkner failed to get out of a doughnut against the Storm. Will be interesting if Erkner can find an offense for this one and keep the Ruins from putting this one away early.

Ruins: 31-13

Erkner: 14-17 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82383

#8 Monmouth Evil Monkeys vs. #15 Brisbane Bogans

The Monkeys cruised right by 1Up in their opener while the Bogans ran into a solid New Jersey team. These two teams I believe have some similar strengths so it should be a quality one to watch.

MEM: 31-28

Brisbane: 24-27 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82384

#10 Providence Murderous Radicals vs. #11 Iowa Rogues

The Radicals have snuck back into the top 10 and the Rogues are back to knocking on the door. Iowa has been relatively quiet since season 2 when they shot up the ladder. Neither team really laid wood in their first games of the season but both had convincing wins.

Iowa: 21-20

Providence: 38-13 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82385

#12 Dakota Dire Wolves vs. #31 The Salty Runback

This will be currently the highest ranked team a tier lower team has been matched up with. Yes, Journeyman has entered the picture of the top 25 ladder talk even though they may not be a highlighted team. I have no idea what to expect here as Dakota is a really solid defense and Salty are a rock solid coordinated group. Will the levels be too much to match up with? Time will tell tomorrow.

Dakota: 37-10

Dakota: 16-10 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82386

#13 American Hustlers vs. #24 Charlotte Panthers

Neither team had troubles scoring in their opening games but the Hustlers did seem to be lacking in defense. This one is a tough call as I know next to nothing about the Hustlers only playing them once and absolutely nothing about Charlotte.

AH: 24-21

Panthers: 28-30 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82387

#14 Detroit Foreclosures vs. #31 Mongolian Horde

Alright we are really starting to get to a level of teams I have no idea about but the Foreclosures held on in their opening game against the Ministry for the win. The Horde ran into a tough Iowa defense. Horde won last seasons matchup here 23-21. I am expecting another close one.

Detroit: 20-17

Detroit: 51-10 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82388

#16 Mr. Men vs. #29 Northwest Storm

Mr. Men dominated their opening opponent but the Storm defensively dominated a solid Erkner team. The Men are pretty close to Erkner offensively from what I seem to remember anyways so the Storm could have their offense stifled here too.

Storm: 16-6

Men: 31-21 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82389

#17 Rocky Mountain Reapers vs. #33 Hub City Hustlers

Rocky lost to Alpine in an absolute shootout while Hub City blew over the French in game one of the season. These 2 teams went back and forth 3 times last season and I think the new sim might have rejuvenated Hub a little bit.

Rocky: 31-28

Hub: 7-49 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82390

#18 Oklahoma Outlaws vs. #30 Hawaii Bulls

Here starts another string of Journeyman teams again. The top Journeyman team in Hawaii comes to Oklahoma for a battle of the tiers. Oklahoma lost a close one to the Ronin in game one and seem to have had their hands full with these Journeyman teams in scrimmages. I think this will be a tough matchup.

Oklahoma: 27-24

Bulls: 13-17 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82391

#19 Alpine vs. #38 Yorickshire Vase Breakers

Alpine won a high scoring affair with the Reapers. Yorkshire has a solid defense but this might be an offense that is a little too much to keep with between the tiers. I am not sure Yorkshire has the offense to keep up with Alpine so hopefully they can slow them down somehow.

Alpine: 34-10

Yorkshire: 28-31 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82393

#20 Portland Ronin vs. #28 Ministry of Dotball

Ronin won a hard fought battle with the Outlaws, Ministry lost a hard fought battle with Detroit. These are 2 teams that are pretty evenly matched imo and the game should be pretty close.

Ronin: 27-24

MoD: 14-40 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82392

#21 Sons of Anarchy vs. #23 Pauline Goat Ranchers

Both of these teams shot up the ladder mid to late last season but currently are heading backwards. Sons ran into Sunday Funday a bunch of times so what can ya do there? They should find themselves working back towards the top 10 again. The Goats relied a lot on an MO defense to shoot up the ladder before getting bounced right back down. Their opening league game is a real puzzling start to the season. Can they turn this ship around?

Sons: 33-10

Goats: 7-17 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82394

#22 Legacy vs. #25 Helmand Provincial Pathan Pansies

Honestly I am hoping for Legacy to knock this team out of the top 25 so I never have to write that name again. lol. But seriously, wtf kind of name is that? Anyways, the Pansies looked brutally bad against Deep Route to open the season and the sim has moved back in favor of the way Legacy was built so maybe this is their time to make moves.

Legacy: 30-3

Legacy: 52-31 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/82395

Nice writeup bhall. I think SoA is poised to make a move back towards the top 10 with this current roster but we will see with these rough matchups coming up with Queen City and Goat Ranchers.

Dunno...dont really have time to make an offense plan aqnd on defense it seems like we lost all control over the passing game. We will see :/

Close one with alpine. We got outgained but forced a key fumble. They didn't seem to have the uber power back that turns our journeyman tacklers into Ken dolls.

Really nice passing attack though, so we'll take a lucky win. :-)

GG jersey. That opening kickoff was just too brutal to overcome.

Alpine dropped to 23. Vase Breakers jumped to 34. Total of 8 points of movement. Sucks to be the higher ranked team in these almost 20 slot difference games.

Surprised we still won even with them scrimming a day before our game.

I knew how that game would turn out. YVB scrimmed Oklahoma and kept it extremely tight. Hawaii has Storm Taurus. Without the right builds, you are going to get run over.

GG bhall. I thought you guys were making that comeback. I had a sweat at the end there. Looks like no movement in the top so far.
