Alpha: 2nd best division (could make that serious push for #1 this season)

Alpine: Full team returning minus 1 guard means great chemistry to start the season out. They have won 2 straight Alpha division titles, and are the defending league champs. VS is their main threat now that they are in town, but those 5 S*s on offense are hard to stop. Their success/failures will depend a bit on the S5 changes. Predict 2nd

Texas AM: Also a full squad coming back, but they have been out of the playoffs in Madison so staying put isn't as glamorous for Texas as it is Alpine. Did the get better by doing nothing? I don't think so. VS coming to town puts Texas in a clear 3rd place.

Victorious Secret: 4 new players on VS this season. I have to think they were upgrades, and upgrading the 2nd team in soph is scary. They will have a whole new league to contend with, and madison is harder than anywhere they came from, so it'll be a challenge, but one I think VS is ready to face. Predict 1st and Alpha champs

Shangri-la Dragons: 7 (SEVEN) S*s on the team, and yet they couldn't produce many wins last season. They have a full chem which is nice but something tells me they aren't going to cut it over here in Madison if they couldn't in their last league. 4th place in Alpha while taking some lumps here in Madison.

Beta: Blacksheep and still 3rd best division

Tortuga: 2 time defending Beta champ (both times with a losing record?). No new players = good for chemistry but bad for competitivness. If it wasn't working for 2 seasons, it's not just gonna happen now. Predict 3rd

Shell City: Put up a glorious battle for the division title but lost to the tie breakers. They picked up 6 new players this offseason, some from some agents with a history of building good players. I think they have done enough this offseason to overtake Tortuga. Predict 2nd

Gliwice Lions: Another new team to the Madison leagues, but much like VS, I think they will come in and take this division. They make Madison overall much better, and will improve the Beta division, but if they were in any of the other divisions they are fighting for the bottom. They brought in 9 new players, 3 of which are S*s, this should be enough to win this division. Predict 1st

Charlotte Strikers: CPU. Predict 4th

Gamma: The jewel of Madison (Alpha is challenging that this season)

Rhode Island: Or should we call Adderfists team the Buffalo Bills The are the 2 time defending Gamma champs, made it to 2 straight title games, and have lost both of those title games. They only made 1 real roster change and that was adding a very solid pass defending FS. In Madison staying put could be one's downfall. The secondary built to stop D'Hara is going to hurt them with VS coming to town. I think they finally get knocked off the top. Predict 2nd

D'Haran Empire: Massive changes to the defense in D'Hara. In the pass happy league that is Madison, D'Hara decided to exchange it's 2 S* DTs for 2 S* CBs. They have also added a 2nd S* HB to the already dominating running game. The secondary has become extremely focused on the pass defense. The big question is how bad will the chemistry hits cost them early on??? Predict 1st

Stark Direwolves: My favorite book/tv show 6 new players on this team came over in the offseason, 3 of which are sophmores....how much is that going to hurt them if they see the field, or are they STOPs to save energy for the starters. Will be interesting to see, but one thing I know, it's not going to be enough to knock off the top 2 teams here. Predict 4th

Factory of Sadness: Factory will have the biggest jump in talent in Madison. They brought in all 3 S*s from D'Hara's DLine last seson, along with 8 other players. Those 11 players will help separate Factory from Stark, but will not be enough to take over the division. Predict 3rd

Playoffs

Alpha: VS
Beta: Gliwice
Gamma: D'Hara
WC: Alpine

Round 1:
VS over Alpine
D'Hara over Gliwice

Title game:

D'Hara vs VS.....

Factory has a new DC as well! Should be a crazy season, really hard to predict. Kudos for attempting to.

Think D'hara made some moves in the right direction, but they'll still lose twice to RIF.

RIF wins the division on tie breakers.

The first part MAYBE, but we seem to be the only top team you can beat

Great write up HayRow! The Factory of Sadness is ready to bring the miz to the competition this season and definitely going to be pulling off a few upsets...... write it down.

Great write up! I'm looking forward to this season, Shell City has definitely upgraded in terms of players/coordinators so it should be interesting.

Alpha (I think they have taken over the best division):

Previous Prediction - VS, Alpine, Texas, Dragons.

Mid-season actuals - VS, Dragons, Texas, Alpine

New Prediction - VS, Alpine, Dragons, Texas. The Dragons have done much better than I thought they would, but losing early to Alpine I think is going to bite them on the butt. I think Alpine and the Dragons will finish w/in a game of eachother or tied with the breaker going to Alpine. Texas lost to the Shockers, who have shocked many, but still are a team that the rest of the division should beat.

Beta:

Previous Prediction - Gilwice, Shockers, Pirates, CPU

Mid-season actuals - Shockers, Pirates, Gilwice, CPU

New Prediction - Shockers, Pirates, Gilwice, CPU. The Shockers have shocked Madison much like their counterparts in the NCAA tourney I must admit i'm very disappointed in Gilwice, so much so that I've told my OC to drop 100+ on their mouths. Great job Shell City, keep it up, you are making Madison more fun

Gamma (2nd best, thanks factory

Previous Prediction - D'Hara, RI, Factory, Stark

Mid-season actuals - D'Hara, RI, Stark, Factory

New Prediction - D'Hara, RI, Stark, Factory. D'Hara has the best record in the league and just had a dominating performance against Alpine. RI has disappointed early on, will Adder be able to pull his squad together and whip them into shape soon enough to grab a wildcard spot??? Stark is the only team so far to beat D'Hara, good gameplan for that game boys, but gotta go on a nasty streak to have a shot at the playoffs. Factory has been a major disappointment this season, hopefully they can keep the team together next season and have some better luck.

Playoffs:

Alpha - VS 2 seed
Beta - Shockers 3 seed
Gamma - D'Hara 1 seed
WC - Alpine 4 seed

Round 1:

VS over Shockers
D'Hara over Alpine

Championship:

D'Hara over VS

Good write up! Wish the league for my own team made it this interesting. We should hire you to do write ups for the Komodo league!
