Can The Boogie Men lose the top spot? Can Dublin get back into the top 5? Can El Paso hold on the top Ten?

After the ladder matches where TBM lost to DD, DAG beat CONVICTED, Run GLB beat Torchwood, Dublin lost to a sophomore team and CVB beat Boobs DAG had taken top spot with TBM into 2nd and Dublin dropped to 5th behind Run GLB. However then came the championship matches where TBM beat DAG, DD beat Dublin and CVB won which gives us the current ladder. How will the last match shake things up?

#1 The Boogie Men vs #4 Run GLB

This is the 8th ladder match between these two this season. They have swapped wins and loses every time so far. On that basis it is Run GLB’s turn to win. If they do it will leave the #1 spot open for DD and DAG and keep Run GLB in the top 5. If TBM break the sequence and win they will keep the top spot and Run GLB is likely to be knocked out of the top 5. I predict TBM to win coming off the high of their championship victory.

#2 Doinitin Djibouti 2.0 vs #5 Creek Valley Beast

Both of these teams won their championship matches which moved them up the ladder. DD need to win and I think TBM needs to lose to let DD claim the #1 spot. A loss by CVB will likely mean they drop out of the 5. I predict DD to win.

#3 Doge All Go vs #7 C O N V I C T E D

After a long winning streak, DAG finally lost in the championship match against TBM, which dropped them from the top spot in the ladder. Convicted started the season well but have lost form in the last few matches. DAG comfortably won the last meeting between these teams and I expect they will repeat that victory. If TBM and DD both lose, that will open the door for DAG to claim the top spot. A victory for Convicted could see them get back into the top 5.

#6 Dublin Wolfhounds vs #8 BO( . )( . )OBS!

Dublin have lost their last two to drop out of the top 5 and ended their hope of getting to #1. Boobs lost their last ladder match but then won their championship match to hold onto their top 10 position. Dublin needs a win, and some other results to go their way, to get back into the top 5. The Boobs might be able to get into the top 5 with a win. I predict Dublin to win.

#9 Alaskan Assassins vs Springfield Isotopes (Sophomore Team)

Alaskan wins the boobie prize here and a non-rookie team. Springfield have tied and lost their last two ladder matches against rookie teams but they were by teams at the top of the ladder and I don’t think Alaskan can repeat that feat. A lose here will most probably drop them out of the top 10.

#10 El Paso Chihuahuas vs #16 Denver Nightmares

El Paso made a big move into the top 10 from 16 by winning their last match. A win against Denver should keep them in the top 10. If Denver wins they could move into the top 10. I will go with the higher ranked team, El Paso.

Awesome writeup and analysis. Boogie Men and Doge All Go were actually tied for #1 before the league championship game. I am not exactly sure how the ELO is calculated for ladder, but it might mean that since DAG is playing a lower ranked opponent that even if they win and TBM lose, DAG won't be able to pass them.

Although, if something like margin of victory is factored in then anything could happen.

Hmmm, does that mean Dublin can't get into the top 5 with a win and a loss for Run GLB/CVB?

Hoping us Virgins can sneak into the top 10. Of course we drew a Seasoned team, but they are inactive and we did kill them a week ago.

I'm not sure I haven't been following other teams patterns as closely, and I'm pretty much guessing how it works anyway. I don't think anyone knows the exact formula.

Fck, hast been enough...^^ boobs stay #6. Should have cared more than preset tactics vs Creek in that last ladder game. Didnt think I would have had a chance to Crack in after that beasts loss. Was wrong I guess xD

grrr, think if I would have avoided that tie vs that Journeyman(CPU) team I could have stole 1st place.

Part of me wanted a last ladder game rematch so we would have a chance at beating you guys to claim the undisputed #1 spot, kinda silly for a team to be ranked ahead of a team they just lost 56-3 to, but oh well. All we can do is try to win the games that we are scheduled! Hopefully we get to play each other earlier next season than this one.

Well, I blew a lot of games early in the season due to bad offensive gameplans...we really hit our stride about midway through the season.
