The total roster size of 43 is great, but is there a reason we can not have an open roster? What I mean is you put restriction on how many TE, QB, HB, so on and so on.

I want to suggest that we eliminate that roster max and allow us to change and make them how we want(like in GLB1). If I want 5 TE and can get 5 to sign then that is all on me..

I think this causes more problems than anything. There's really no reason to stack that many dots at a position besides for exploit purposes or just to have a wonky team (12 punters or something).

So you want to build a run team with 5 TEs and only 2 WRs and save on salary? Or maybe build 7 FSs and only 2 CBs and save some salary there? Maybe SSs instead of LBs or LBs instead of DEs?

Roster limits prevent exploits and the current setup is fairly flexible.

This is why we can't have nice things...

Srsly though, not all players have the same attributes on offense so that would be a big deterrent....12 punters though....
