As a general rule of thumb, How many S* can you carry without killing Cap space or Team Depth

well considering you can use all your cap space with out S* i guess 0......

there is soo many options regarding this subject, there is type of S* that varies cost and if you want to run high and med contracts.

if you run medium contracts 3 should be possible depending of if your team is have wage trait based

You really can't.

Unless they're clones, you're likely going to see all different salaries for everybody playing the same position.

Basically, you can easily have 3 (4 if no QBs/HBs) on a full roster with a bunch of medium contracts, as long as people didn't go crazy with traits.

If you want more superstars ( http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/694 runs 11 total), you need to go with a 36-40 man roster, and a handful of low contracts. It's possible, success is doable, but there's less room for error.

Someone has a spread sheet floating round which lets you input all the traits etc for your roster.

That being said 3 is probably really pushing it if you still want to have 43 players on your roster with at least medium contracts. Though teams are making it work with 4 and more and running with fewer players.

DADDY currently has 10. 'Course, 4 are o-line and 4 are d-line, so that makes it a bit easier for them salary wise.

(also makes them a pain in the ass to DC against because they're basically blitz-proof)

yea but 4 of them isn't in same tier'

edit: and sackproof...look at at hawaii bulls Lucky has been sacked 19 times with the run focussed line, 6 of them in a game where boss screwed up the gameplan

not that the threat of a fantastic running game impacts that at all. Cleveland laughs at 19 sacks on 627 attempts.
