I just noticed that glb 2 is lacking the awesome purple zones known as buzz zones. You know the purple zones in this play http://i.stack.imgur.com/Ml2Bh.jpg. They are great for those Nasty wheel and corner routes you see running around. I merely ask that we get these awesome zones added in, who's with me? Ps please add an awareness check for zones that allow Cbs to meet wrs entering their zone instead of waiting till after they enter the zone to move

Already done!

As in, it already works that way.

I'd love buzz zones too. It would let me play a C2 Buzz zone to stop the plays attacking the corners.

How does a defender act differently in a buzz zone conpared to a normal zone?

I sure it has to do with some fucking game like Joe Montana football or something like that for those game systems nowadays

Really? Usually my safeties sit in the middle of their zone and wait till the wr breaks it to chase them, is that just an awareness check fail?

Each zone has its own name. hook zones are the yellow zones usually about 5 yards deep in the middle of the field, flat zone is the light blue zones on the edges, deep zones are the dark blue ones 10-15 yards back and buzz zones are purple zone that are basically hook zones that cover the sidelines, they specifically target corner and out routes

Isn't it pretty much the same as the two outside zones in 3-4 cover 4 (among others)? Or are they a little deeper than the play you linked.

about 2-3 yards further back and also a lot tighter against the sideline. Basically Buzz zones cover where a cover 2 or 3 would normally have holes which is down the sideline about 7-13 yards from scrimmage.

Those were games my sons played on there Nintendo. Seems everyone on this game wants the playbooks from the game nowadays. Sorry for the old reference.

I was getting at there is no such thing in real football as "BUZZ ZONE" that is must come from one of the games played today..
Now it could have been a name a coach gave his zone schemes but there is no BUZZ ZONE.

They are less commonly known as curl to flat zones in the nfl but most people play madden and would know them better as buzz zones
