8 quarters long. Eight.

Though it should have ended in 7.

Are you kidding me, that was the longest game I've ever watched.... 2 missed FG's... 2 TD's by KR's over 8 quarters.... that was hard to lose.

It is, Yeah...

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/74601/3241471 but this is another example of broken end-of-game logic

Oh no. If you watch the 6th quarter, everyone is down at laughably low levels of energy/morale.

That shit happened to us in season 1 championship game against Zorp.

I thought they were going to fix it then?

You get 1 timeout in OT, you had already used it. I guess you could argue as to why you at least didn't try the FG after the TO though.

My bad, I thought you were upset they didn't rush to the line and spike it. If I'm not mistaken I've seen teams do it faster than 9 seconds. At least you still won unlike a lot of other teams who have got screwed by it.

Two rule questions:

1st) How do you determine, who gets the ball at the beginning of an overtime period?
(5th: Erkner, 6th: Storms, 7th: Storms, 8th: Erkner)
It is probably random for the first OT period, right?

2nd) What happens in the NFL (and yes I know we are not in the NFL, still...) if an overtime period ends with no score (playoff game)? Do they kickoff or do they continue the currrent drive?
