How much do I need?

I see WRs run wide open down the field unnoticed in the 60s, so I'd say higher than that.

Hmmm...I have my QB maxing out at 75.

At what level can the QB reliably get rid of the ball in a 4WR formation against middle overload excluding 3rd and long?

Depends on what you mean by reliable. And largely that has to to do with the WR's as well.

Regardless that play is broken and should be fixed. So hinging your build thoughts on that is not smart.

My QB on DD2 is at 50 and he gets it off most of the time vs Middle Overload if 4 WR Under is called. If the LBs get a good jump on the snap he still gets sacked but a lot less than earlier this season...enough so that teams have started to slow down their MO spam vs the 4 WR set.

I've got a seasoned QB with 76 Pass Awareness currently and a cap of 100 so we'll see what it's like when it gets into the 80's. Don't have any information regarding his numbers vs specific plays though.

He's on a fairly bad team however...would do a lot better in an offense correctly built around passing. Still manages to get onto the league leaders board every season though.

Reminds me of Matt Stafford IRL. 5 million yards each season but never makes the playoffs

First, Matt Stafford in this Game is different. Secondly, Lions will go to the conference game this season!!!

After 50+ pass awareness, you're really not getting more to be able to see your first or second progression get open immediately against middle overload. That's plenty for your QB to recognize those plays. I'd say 50 is a little low, and puts you at risk of absolutely being too low after some energy/morale burn. 60 gives a good buffer there.

The value in taking pass awareness higher than 60 though is to hopefully more reliably find wide open guys that aren't high on the progression list, or that break open late.

There's at least a half dozen passes a game for Air Raid that Cleveland's dumping it off to a decently covered guy when another receiver is running down the field totally uncovered. Those head-scratchers are what you're trying to get converted with more awareness.
