Is it a good idea to have one power back and one elusive or is it better to have 2 power backs or 2 elusive?

I dunno that one is better than the other. All really depends on how you are using them.

Generally, if you are running a lot to the outside then elusive or power they are gonna need speed/carry awareness. Inside running, more quickness/footwork...IMO.

You 2 missed the question.

In this system while possible to have one of each, it's much harder to manage which one gets in on the right play. If you are a casual coorinator, your better off with one set or the other, not mixed. If you do you have to manage down and distance play calling in much greater detail, and i would say 80% of teams don't/won't manage it right and would get frustrated watching their powerback get dropped for a lose on a strech run play.

Pick a style and be great at it, not mix would be my option.

You can't specify which HB plays in which formation or play so I wouldn't do it.

I didn't miss the question. It all depends on how you are building and use them. A lot of top 10 teams have both elusives and power guys running all the same plays.

You can do both if you limit your playbook to plays that work for the both of them.

It can if you do it right. Andes uses a combo and elusive back in a change of pace style which will really bloom when they hit 25 and will really give coordinators nightmares both of them can run inside and outside which is the key to thriving with two different backs.
