It's sad to see such a storied league so dead and quiet these days. I cut my GLB teeth in this league.

American Invaders: Eastern Europe Pro league season 1 runner up

Someone solicited this game on the Houston Texans.com forum and several of us came over to check it out. We bought a losing team a third of the way through the season and turned it into a title contender.

I know, I know. Bragging about trophies before the implementation of the AI is silly but what can I say? Those are some fond memories. Sad part is I don't even remember the guys I joined up with. I'm sure they're all long gone by now.

It's a shame GLB has been on a steady decline. Such a great concept with such shitty management. This will be my last run.

Maybe we should just start a separate thread with Believe the Hype and we can just talk shit at each other all season long. As a plus, if this is the number of cares in this league we'll be meeting back up with the old gang in WL shortly.

It is the off season where the total care meter is at 3 for Mayan. I do hope your chatter continues in the regular season because the forums have been typically dead.

It looks like in this conference you can write off 6 or so teams right away and 4 to 5 teams will be playing for a WL shot. Conference looked much tougher last season tbh. EE had a few good teams gut and I believe no team demoted from WL. Even a couple of teams that moved up look incomplete and the 2 WU teams are full of CPU. GL everyone from WoMD!

Yoman had a WR on the Heat for most of the minor league seasons until he moved him to his own team. We did win 3 consecutive LCs.

Yep, he was money too. He almost won MVP one season. Only WR I ever made tha actually did something in GLB

Yeah we missed him and lost some of the offensive fire power after that. We could only get to 2nd place in the PL.

It is and agreed but I gotta admit it was as fun moving up the ladder this time with smack talk and rivalries as ever before. I miss that a ton right now and kinda wish we all went to the same PRO and fuck the WORLDS... Was some great battles
