#1 Salty Pressure vs #3 Hawaii Bulls

First new matchup this go around Hawaii faces the blitzing defense of Salty. The Bulls don't have a lethal passing offense which I believe will hurt them vs Salty's style of defense. However, if there is one thing I have learned its that you should never count Hawaii out of any matchup. With that said I believe that Salty is just gunna be slightly too difficult to crack for a run heavy team.

It's still gunna be pretty close : 20-17 Salty

#2 Harrisongburg vs #4 Air Raid

Matchup number 2 in this week's mixup. We got the red hot Air Raid going against the uncaring Harrisongburg Bulldogs. After losing interest in facing Salty every week Tdiddy let his team slump low enough to get in stabbing range of Air Raid. As good as the dogs can be I'm not sure Tdiddy will try this game and even of he does I'm not sure his blitz defense will work vs Air Raid. I mean I watched Air Raid torch a blitzing defense that I used to hold teams to an avg of 12 points across 2 teams so I think the choice is clear

The red koolaid strikes again: 41-35 Air Raid

#5 vase breakers vs killer cult

Ouch vase gets a solid journeyman team this week. From personal experience the killer cult are no slouch. The choice is clear here, sorry Vase Breakers.

40-14 Cult

#6 hooker vs #7 lost

Two Slumping pass teams with solid but combustable defenses. Should be a passing extravaganza. Bold prediction of the game: Cobb doesn't lead Atlanta in yards this game

Go Davis Go: 21-14 Hookers

#8 Glasgow Rangers vs #11 Andes

Andes is really hurting from some key players capping certain skills too quickly which has been killing them lately. Lucky for Andes they have some reinforcements coming in the offseason to remedy this but in the mean time Andes will just have to sit and hope they can hold off this spiral. I like Glasgow as a team and I think they are gunna give Andes a great game but I think Andes squeaks in for the win

Andes overcomes their adversities to pull this one from Glasgow's grasp: 24-17 Andes

#9 Cobra Kai vs #10 Berkley Bowlers

I learned my lesson, sorry Kia but you've been Thunderstruck

38-17 Bowlers

Wrong on Cobb. He had 148 yards and 2 TD's.

More importantly, wrong on the winner.

Thanks for these USC, even if you're a west coaster that puts them up far too late in the evening

GG Air Raid

apparently I can't blitz as much as I'd like to... good to know Droppin' Bombs and our offense is up for the challenge of an all-out passing game if need be

Yep, threw the ball well. Adder used a bunch of stuff that he used against LL looked like, we just didn't get the INTs this time around. Lots of jump attempts, no conversions

like us and our sacks...

I knew we'd give up a bit of yardage, just figured at some point Jordan/Haley would bust through for a sack/fumble/fumble recovery... all it takes is one or two sacks on a quick series and the builds/SAs cause a total momentum flip... I'll maybe re-think my blitzing strategy against pass-heavy teams, but I still refuse to sit back with a cover 2 and let teams pick us apart like most people

Fwiw, Cleveland's probably better built to shrug off morale/fumble tactics than any other QB in the game. If there's another QB with a higher heart/toughness/dropback grip combination, I've not seen them. We way overshot on those things during the late half of rookie, first half of sophomore when the DAG/ZEB stuff was in vogue.

whaddya know .. if we hadn't crapped the bed in the 4th quarter we'd have beaten them solidly - have to settle for an OT Touchdown and a close win over a journeyman team

I've kind of felt like the top 10 seasoned teams would be capable of pushing about 10 ranks higher on average if we could be playing journeyman teams right now. Getting into the overall top 20 might be pretty tough, but if we'd been playing them all the whole season, the Seasoned top 10 would probably be scattered from 20-45 or so.

It really sucks to not be able to run a normal defense because 1 agent with 3 of our teams lbs and 1 cb up and quits.
