#1 The Boogie Men vs #87 Journeyman Team
This is the second time The Boogie Men have reached #1. Both times they got to immediately face a journeyman team instead of defending #1 against a rookie team. It's quite unfortunate, but not hopeless. Unlike the other journeyman team that eats rookie teams for breakfast, this one isn't as strong. They have all CPU except for 1 human player and about half the team is seasoned. They still obviously have a huge SP advantage, but their last 2 games against rookie teams weren't blowouts. They beat the Boogie Men by 14 and Convicted by 10. The Boogie Men have a chance in this game, but they will need some breaks to go their way. I don't know that they can quite pull it off at this time though. The Boogie Men lose 13-23
#2 Run GLB vs #6 Doge All Go
Run GLB has the #1 rushing attack in rookie in terms of total yards. They are built to run and they are hard to stop. Doge All Go has the #1 passing attack in rookie in terms of total yards. This will be a great matchup of elite offenses clashing. Doge hasn't faced a rushing team like GLB since a 2-game stretch almost a month ago against the Boogie Men and the Virgins. In both those games they gave up 42 points. That's troubling, but it was quite a while ago and a lot has changed since then. The last time Run GLB faced a good passing team they shut out Dublin. I don't think they will be able to shut out Doge, but I think they will limit them enough to pull out the victory. Run GLB wins 31-17
#3 C O N V I C T E D vs #5 Dublin Wolfhounds
This is a rematch from 2 weeks ago in a game where Dublin won in a 45-0 blowout. Further investigation shows that Dublin spammed middle overload all game to shut down the Convicted offense. In might not have mattered though, because Convicted showed no resistance to Dublin's passing game. This is a great chance for revenge for Convicted. I'm sure they will have a different gameplan this time, but I don't know that it will be enough. Dublin wins 24-14
#4 Doinitin Djibouti 2.0 vs #8 Syndicate Bayou Bengals
This is a rematch from the last round of ladder games. DD2.0 won the previous match comfortably 31-3. Syndicate is probably better than that score indicates, but I don't see them closing the gap that much in 3 days. DD2.0 wins 17-3
#7 I've Never Had Sex vs #88 Journeyman Team
Unlike the journeyman team that the Boogie Men are facing, this journeyman team destroys rookie teams. They are full of human players and all but 1 of them are journeyman. Rookie teams regular lose to this team by 70+ points. The virgins have no chance in this one. I've Never Had Sex loses 0-77
#9 Alaskan Assassins vs #11 Vandelay Industries
My team has finally climbed back into the top 10 and we get to face a pretty good Vandelay team. Vandelay has won 5 games in a row, including a 24-0 victory over the Sexy Dance Fighters. This should be a good test for us. We may or may not run the ball 100% of the time in this game. Game ends in 17-17 tie
#10 Torchwood Institute vs #15 BO(.)(.)OBS!
After getting screwed over and losing to a journeyman team, Torchwood squeaked out a victory in their last ladder game and still hang at the fringe of the top 10. Meanwhile, Boobs have been outside of the top 10 for a while and even though they are still on the outside they just picked up a nice victory over the virgins in yesterday's league game. Boobs has went toe to toe with some great teams this season and have some heartbreaking losses. They have shown the ability to compete with anyone. I'm expecting a low scoring game and I'll give the nod to Boobs this time. Boobs wins 13-7
