So it's that time again and this time your getting a damn good write up except Harrisonburg vs Salty. I hate reruns and man are they a bad re run

New Tip, Tdiddy STOP CHOKING AWAY THE 1 SPOT!!! Harrison is undefeated when number 2 but 0-2 when number 1 so the obvious conclusion is Tdiddy does it again

Dogs are way too good at this match up when #2: 27-17 Dogs

#3 Hawaii Bulls vs #6 Lost Lounge

Repeat. Last matchup was a lot lower scoring than I thought. I expect the bulls to win again but with a bit higher score

#4 Air Raid vs #5 Hardcore Vase Breakers

Repeat but Air Raid swapped with Vase Breakers. I'm still drinking that RedRaid koolaid as only two teams have beat them this season and breakers is not one of them. No one can stop this offense (27 being their lowest game is not stoping them) .

Another Blowout: 48-21 Air Raid

#7 Atlantic City Hookers vs #8 Andes Chinchillas

This is totally not fair, I demand a new matchup! Seriously though this will be a high scoring game potentially. We all know stoping the hookers is hell but for Andes they have a new fold. Last ladder they unleashed their inner Air Raid as Jim had a masterful game through the air passing for 419 yards and 5 touchdowns. So the question is can you stop an Andes team that is the defacto number 2 rushing team and has a passing attack that can rival Lost Lounge? This is where the mind game begins for Atlantic City, what side of Andes will they see and is it the one they game planned for?

I wanna say Andes but Cobb is crack: 35-31 Hookers

#9 Cobra Kai vs #12 Berkley Bowlers

Cobras got bitten last time around, they didn't take the Bowlers as seriously as they should but I think they fix it this time around and win it.

#10 Los Cabos Sharks vs #13 Nigerian Nightmare

I'm not gunna lie I know nothing of these two teams and was a bit disappointed that neither Glasgow or Erie was here as they are my favorite underdogs. However I do know the Minimares and if the big brother team is even remotely close to them than the Mares got it.

We've actually got a pretty poor record the last couple seasons for having consistency in quick rematches. If we win the first game, we typically lose the second. If we lose the first game, we typically win the second. I suppose it's the advantage of the loser being able to alter the plan significantly to produce better results, and the winner being stuck in a "it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality.

Salty got their blowout revenge.

news flash... i'm getting bored of this game

spent literally 2 minutes game-planning, and not seeing this change in anymore matchups in the future against salty. Until matchmaking gets improved, I'm not putting any effort into ladder games.

Remember when I used to tease you about how your LB's weren't going to be the studs you thought they were as soon as you had to play against good QB's?

Oh, and calling Middle Overload against 3 WR's and outside runs is bad, and you should feel bad.

I tired watching the game but after seeing Middle Overload called 20+ times in the first qtr I stopped.

GG to ya'll as well. Nice tactical call on removing the dive/slam plays. Ya'lls deeper passing focus played really well against those B gap LB blitzes.

I would point out that it bothers me you don't use the rushing QB for the occasional GL rollout. If only to give the passing QB the occasional breather (with bonus chance of homerun!). You put that in on short yardage for second down, it won't kill you to get a TFL for a follow up 3rd down passing play in which your QB will have gotten a snap worth of rest. The difference in 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 6 while passing is negligible. Even just diving from GL instead of your regular formations would be a good idea IMO. No need to have your passing QB eating that energy drain from the handoff when you know the other team isn't going to lineup in quarters or 3-2-6 against 2nd and 1-2 yards.

sieg pulled it out for the game today - we've really been struggling since we got to the top 5 - I think we are a legit top 10 team but we just didn't make our dots as sharply focused as we need to be able to either get a pass rush/coverage (at the expense of run defense) or be overwhelming in either the pass or the run

being good at a lot is tricky - but if the defense can't show up we are toast and at this point I'm beyond frustrated with it. I'm sure if I were better i'd be able to find a counter but I've tried a ton of things that don't work

my favorite might be the cover two defenses where the two safeties swap positions with the one on the strong side running to cover the weak side and the one on the weak side running to the strong side

we'll see if we can come up with something - I am waffling hard about going on another season - i've grown attached to the various dots (not even mine) that have stuck it out this far but maybe we didn't make them specialized enough in our newbish ignorance

You don't worry about him...he doesn't exist...

I know how you feel Rom_Fox. We beat our head against the wall in the 6-12 range all last season. Finally got enough right to move up this season into a more 4-8 type range. Hell, beating any Lounge team for us is a recent development. Before that we had to get by Louisiana.

I hope we get a shot at Harrisonburg next, but unless Hawaii moves high enough in rank to be considered for a game against Salty, I dunno if it'll happen.

win or lose against salty, GLB2 is just getting boring, no matter what happens either way... I need to start seeing some new plays, animations or something for it to keep my serious interest. I'll stay active but doubt I'll play all the way through where we are playing top tier teams in the veteran tier or whatever the top one is.

Dont worry I had my defense torched for 60 against Air Raid and I usually run a very solid defense, none of us have the answer to stop them yet
