Figured I would give this fluster cluck a shot.

== ALPHA ==

With Tampa sitting 3 games ahead of divisional foes and sweeping all 3 early on, they are in like like Flynn! All they have to do is go .500 in the next 4 to seal the deal and only Helmand can knock them down, but then again Helmand would have to win out as well. Odds are Tampa is in, and I stick by that.

Possible Wildcards : Helmand / DeepRoute

== BETA ==

Alpine sitting 2 games ahead of Reapers makes this race rather interesting. To be frank the strength of this division all 4 teams have a shot at winning the division with varying degrees of outside luck needed. With that said I will have to break each team down individually with their own scenarios.

Alpine sitting with a 2 game lead right now and the tie breaker over all 3 divisional foes sets them as the favorites to win the division. They have Helmand as the last team to play. If they win that game they will only need 1 divisional win to seal the deal. Lose and they will be required to win 2 out of the next 3 to seal the deal and make sure one of those wins is against the team that challenges them.

Reapers are the team sitting 2 games back from Alpine and have a complete disadvantage against all the other teams in Beta as they have lost all 3 earlier this season. Their last game is against Dookie. They will need to win that game and require that Alpine to lose 2 games over the next 4 while Reapers win out, even with that are trailing in the defensive points allowed stat. Detroit sits and Ministry both sit a game behind with a divisional win against the Reapers. Tough spot to be in to take down Alpine for the Division.

Detroit sits 2-1 division record with the loss to Alpine who they sit 3 games behind for the divisional lead. With 3 games behind and tie breaker loss, they have a LONG shot to get the division.

Ministry sits 1-2 in the division with only win against Reapers. With 3 games behind and tie breaker loss they only luck they have is a guarantee win against Orphans, they will need to run the table and have Alpine drop 4 straight to have a chance. No way this happens.

All said, Alpine should take this division.

Possible Wildcards : All 4

== GAMMA ==

Gamma is just like Beta with a huge cluster to deal with. Only team that we know is Orphans.

Toast currently sitting at the lead hold tie breaker over Dookie, but lost to Murder City who both are a game behind them. With DeepRoute left to play they only have one game they can give up. If they lose only 1 in the remaining 4 they are in, lose 2 and they run into some luck needed but still have a great chance.

Dookie sitting a game back from Toast have the tie breaker over Murder City so like Texas they will need to do some work and need to beat Texas as well as beat Reapers and Murder City to try have a chance at the division.

Murder City has the hardest task to take the division. Sitting a game behind the lead and both tiebreakers between the 2 they have Tampa left to play out of division which will be another very tall task. Don't see them pulling this out.

All in all, I expect Texas Toast to win the division.

== WILDCARDS ==

With predicted divisional opponents here is the possible wildcards

6-4 BETA Rocky Mountain Reapers
5-5 ALPHA Helmand Provincial Pathan Pansies
5-5 BETA Detroit Foreclosures
5-5 BETA Ministry of Dotball
5-5 GAMMA Dookie Island
5-5 GAMMA Murder City Devils
4-6 ALPHA DeepRoute

Both Gamma teams and Ministry all get a free win against the Orphans which puts them all at essentially 6-5 with only 3 games of importance where the other 3 teams have tough games remaining for out of divisional play.

Helmand and Murder City have some very tough games to play this week and possibly could drop them down a spot.

There is no sense in creating the dissertation of possibilities at this point for the wildcard and will update after this week's game, and will after each weak and amend any divisional winners if need be.

Thanks stobie.

Should be a very interesting ending to the season to say the least. This is what separates GLB2 from GLB1 and makes it a lot more fun.

Tampa is the only team that is a virtual lock. I would also think that the Reapers have a very good chance of going 10-4 from the way they have been playing lately. Looks very solid.

I really need Texas to take back that comeback they had on us and let us win that game retroactively. Having that extra W would be so key.

with that loss, i don't think alpine is entirely a lock anymore...they could still lose to detroit and mod...

I think you guys badly need MOD to beat us because I think (without looking so I could be wrong) that you have the tiebreaker over both of us.

It'll be like last year. We'll need a series of other wins to happen, and then we'll need to win our last game only to blow the last game.

either way i want to tip my hat off to Motiak, he took over detroit this season, and despite the early predictions of detroit flopping on its face..he has lead them pretty damn well...
