I'm a little biased but my favorite of all time (excluding last years) was when the Lakers beat the Magic. It was the first finals series where I watched every single game and it was so entertaining to watch the 3-point shooting Magic with Howard take on Kobe and company.

My favorite was Bulls vs Sonics 1996. Even though my team lost, it was the best season in their history and it was a lot of fun to watch.

Lakers vs. Celtics round 2 in 2010 was the best of recent memory. Hoping the Spurs can pull this one out, they are certainly better than last year at this point.

Since the SOnics were ripped from us, I haven't watched 5 minutes of NBA basketball, so I could care less who wins this series. Todays brand of NBA ball is horrible compared to the 80's and 90's. Hate it, can't watch it.

You ever watched the movie sonicsgate? You should. I get how it is having a team taken from you. As an Atlanta native we just list our Thrashers. Its not like losing the sonics but I get the feeling on a smaller scale. I also know how its like getting a team because it was announced a few months ago ATL will get a MLS team. The feeling is amazing. I hope Seattle gets the Sonics back soon.

Ya, I've watched it. I grew up here, so got a lot of firsthand, front seat type experience with the sonics and schulz, the city council, bennet, stern, et all.
I can tell you this, there were a lot of bad guys in that whole deal. It wasn't about fan support, it was about money and politics and the NBA being butt hurt because we funded 2 other stadiums and they wanted a piece of the taxpayer pie as well. In the end, it was extortion plain and simple. Sucks, but it was what it was.

Haha yeah, good point. It's easy for me to forget since it was before I was born. I should have said the best season since I became a fan. The Sonics of the 90's were really fun to watch though and there has been an emptiness since they were taken away.
