CCL AND BB WIN FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON!

Week 5:

Pick of the week: Bengals over Woof 14-7 (10-0 actual score). Tough game to pick, great D battle to watch!

Pick of shame: Tides vs CCL. CCL comes away with their first win of the season. Good Job!

Last Week 5-1
Overall 16-8

Now onto Week 6:

Woof Woof vs Vandelay Industries - These two teams find themselves in the GAME OF THE WEEK! Woof is #1 in total defense and Vandy is #1 in passing offense. Woof has leaned on their running game and strong D to take them to the top of ALPHA DIV while Vandy is riding their AIR RAID passing attack to their current 3-2 record. Both of these teams are very talented and this should be a great game. I think Woof takes their second loss in a row to the #12 ranked rookie team Vandy.Vandy wins 21-14.

Jax Wolves vs Mannheim Jags - Mannheim is riding the momentum of two back to back wins, on the other hand it has been two huge blowout losses in a row for the Wolves. Wolves continue their slide. Jags win 20-7.

Capital City vs Tux Dinos - CCL does something I didn't think possible, they won last week! Im not sure if that is a glimpse of the future or a one off chance. The Dinos have been shut out in back to back league games. Team rank suggests CCL should win this one but I just don't think it would be fair for their inactive owner to get anymore wins. GLB2 gods intervene in this one. Dinos win 10-7.

River City vs Bradford Dogs - RCR are the underachievers of the year so far and last week Bradford made me look like rain man for picking them in an upset. RCR wants to pass almost as much as Vandy. So far Vandy has done that much better. Bradford's staff seemed to pull something out of their butt last week but Im not sure how much was luck and how much was genius. This game will come down to a battle between RCR OL and Dogs DL. If the Dogs can get enough pressure they can win, but will they? RCR wins 17-10

NJ Surge vs Colorado High - NJ is rolling now. I think they will outclass Colorado here and put up big numbers again this week. Colorado has shown an ability to put up some points as well but it wont be enough this week. NJ wins 35-17

Norfolk Tides vs Bayou Bengals - #7 rookie team (SBB) vs the #70 rookie team (NT). Tides aren't a bad team but they won't have enough to hang with the BETA DIV leading Bengals. Bengals win 24-3

Thanks for the predictions Butler! Norfolk is a solid team, so the Bengals will have to bring their A game.

As for Woof Woof, they have a tough running attack and I'll need to hit the film room to figure out how to shut them down.

Norfolk will bash our faces against your fists repeatedly until sweet unconsciousness sets in. It will be glorious

S*'s help but builds are what make or break you, teams with S*'s lose to teams without S*'s all the time and vice versa. I noticed your 4 CB's on Bradford only have a combined 4 PD's between them, that may have something to do with it especially if the receivers you go against have hands and catch in traffic pumped up. But GG Bradford.
