#14 Baltimore Bulldogs vs #6(tied) Syndicate Affiliate Bayou Bengals
Syndicate started out the season by winning their first 6 games but have came back down to earth a little bit by losing 2 of their last 3. They have struggled to get their offense going as of late and I don't see them having a huge scoring output against Baltimore. The Bulldogs have given up more than 7 points in only one game thus far. I see this being a low scoring game, but I am giving the edge to Baltimore because of their ability to throw the ball. Baltimore wins 9-3

#9(tied) Sexy Dance Fighters vs #6(tied) Jebediahs Oblong Ball Club
Sexy has QB rollout cheesed their way to a 7-2 record, with those only 2 losses coming when teams were able to limit the damage of the rollout. Jebs has an experienced coaching staff but got burned bad by the QB rollout earlier in the season, so we will see if they have learned from that experience. The rollout play can still break open for long runs if you have the wrong defense out there, but I think Jebs will slow it down enough to pick up the victory. Jebs wins 10-7

#9(tied) Oklahoma Lawmen vs #3(tied) Men Who Herd Cats
The Cat Herders bring in an impressive 8-1 record and are currently riding a 5 game winning streak. Oklahoma has climbed the ladder by winning their last 6 games, so someone's streak is coming to an end. Both teams look to be pass oriented, but I am giving the edge to the Cat Herders and their defense. Men Who Herd Cats win 17-6

#6(tied) Alaskan Assassins vs #3(tied) Boogie Men
The Boogie Men have approximately zero passing yards so far this season. They have leaned heavily on the GL QB rollout play and have had a lot of success due to the play being broken and opposing teams sticking to default goal line defense. Even in their recent game after the changes were made they still had massive success with that play, but when I checked what the opposing team was running, it was goal line defense. Alaska won't be using a goal line defense. Alaska wins 14-7

#5 New Jersey Surge vs #88 Journeyman Team
This game just isn't fair. New Jersey gets to face a Journeyman team full of active players. This really needs to be fixed.
New Jersey loses 0-73

#2 Run GLB vs #1 C O N V I C T E D
Convicted is the only undefeated team remaining across all rookie leagues. Run GLB runs the ball a lot, but they may have some problems due to the recent changes. In their last league game they were only able to manage 2 yards per carry. Convicted has the ability to run AND throw the ball. On top of that, Convicted has shut out all but one opponent. I don't see Run GLB getting their offense going in this one and the balanced attack for Convicted provides enough offense for the victory. Convicted wins 13-0

A team that 'has leaned heavily on GL QB rollout' has HBs ranked at 1st and 4th in HOF?

Haha all good man. I know you have a lot of rushing yards from your HB's as well, but just going through your games I see a large chunk of TD's coming from QB rollout. It's a huge part of your offense.

Sexy Dance Fighters will pull off the upset and shock the world!

The shocking thing would be if you could win a game without the majority of your yards coming from QB rollout. If you can do that, I applaud you, but between this team and your other team you seem to just ride the cheese train to all your victories.

I agree. Less pressure. But you have a solid team and the ability to beat anyone. It's still early and things are very far from decided.

Yeah I guess that would be shocking since we are built to run outside. I'm working on some game plans and ways to help the builds of my guys right now. My last comment was just for fun by the way. But in all seriousness, I'm sure people here will agree that these write-ups are a lot of fun to read and make the game so much more enjoyable, especially when my team gets mentioned (even when we get criticized). So, thanks for the time and effort and I hope to see more. Good luck in your ladder games tomorrow and your predictions (except for the SDF game )

Nice write up Rob.

Surge really wanted a chance to test ourselves vs the top 15 teams here in rookie and somehow pulled a Journeyman team. I hope that we can fight our way back to the top and give one of you guys a run for your money.

I posted this issue in the bug forum but highly doubt anything will be done.

This is an unfair road block, but fortunately you have plenty of time to get back in it and give some actual rookie teams a great challenge.
